12 YOUR ROLE Meet with your EM team: Don t wait for a disaster to know your role Visit your Operations Center (EOC) Learn of hazards that threaten your jurisdiction Learn what is being done to mitigate hazards Understand the limitations of your disaster program

13 YOUR ROLE Understand your response processes: Know key stakeholders and their roles; Know who s in charge; Know response priorities; Understand local State of ; Understand the possibility of financial liability
