3 FARM-TO-TABLE COOKING EXPERIENCE For those folks and family members not immediately drawn to our anyone-can-do-it build experiences, we offer a one-week farm-to-table cooking experience with a world-class chef. Begin your day sipping coffee with our award winning culinary expert while planning the evening s meal in the chef s kitchen overlooking the farm. Afternoons will be spent collecting the organic ingredients fresh from our farm, or our local sister farms, and learning everything you could want to know about: Seasonal harvesting Organic and sustainable growing Nutrition Livestock, and Aquaponics The kitchen experience that follows will be second to none, learning: Knife techniques Prep tricks for maximizing nutrients The art of food combinations Ingredient pairings Wine pairings And secret recipes created by our chef and fine-tuned in his award winning farm-sea-totable restaurant The Oyster Club. Evening meals, prepared by our culinary guests, will be shared by everyone in our fireside pavilion overlooking The Building Barn Lake, as stories and tall tales ~not cell phones~ permeate our clean farm air.
