2 Dated 30 April, 2016 About HMCM Hon ble Minister of Finance in budget speech announced Bareilly, Lucknow (U.P) and Kutch (Bhuj-Gujarat) as new Mega clusters. The basic objec ves are to assist the stakeholders in availing the facili es set up with modern infrastructure at Block levels, Latest technology, Design innova ons, Adequate training and Human Resource Development (HRD) and Appropriate market linkages. The guiding principle underlying the design of clusters would Create modern infrastructure and Integrate the produc on chain in a manner that caters requirement of the handicra ar sans in the Clusters. Based on the recommenda ons of the report of Diagnos c-cum-jus fica on study for the proposed interven ons in the Bhuj Mega Cluster, technical-cum-marke ng team visited different units, ar sans, SHGs, manufacturing units at Block level in different clusters of Bareilly for technical understanding of the proposed So and Hard interven ons and their feasibility. With an objec ve to implement the So interven ons, it is proposed to train the young entrepreneurs in Bareilly Mega Cluster for developing export skills such as how to start handicra export, Design & Product development, Marke ng and Export documenta on. The dura on of the course shall be 5 days. Renowned experts in relevant field shall undertake the course. About NIESBUD The Na onal Ins tute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is an autonomous Ins tute under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship engaged in training, consultancy, research, etc. in order to promote entrepreneurship. In this training program, major informa on necessary to enter the business of Handicra will be provided along with excellent networking opportuni es. Successful candidate will be able to have an understanding of Na onal Solar Mission, Government & State policies, Fundamentals of Solar Photovoltaic, System Designing, REC mechanism, etc. The course will be conducted in a workshop mode (par cipa ve) and each session builds upon the others. Reserva on of par cipants will be done on first come first serve basis due to limited seats availability.
