1 About KROK University Founded in 1992 «KROK» University is one of the best-ranking private higher educational institutions in Ukraine. In 2003 the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine accredited the University at the IV (highest) level. Quality management system of «KROK» University is certified under 9001:2008. «KROK» University is the team of about 5000 students, more than 650 of them are international students from 32 countries all over the world, and about 450 academic staff, 70% are PhD holders. They empower to take into consideration and conduct Doctoral and PhD Theses defense in Economics, Management, Security, Psychology and Law. It provides high scientific and methodological level and quality of future highly professionals. KROK is active on the international arena. University has partnership relations with more than 50 HEIs from all over the world. KROK implements exchange and mobility programs of students and staff with 11 HEIs from Hungary, Poland, Italy, the Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania etc, including mobilities within Erasmus+ Key Action 1. KROK is implementing 3 Double Degree Programs «KROK» University was the partner of EMP-AIM consortium within Erasmus Mundus Grant «Erasmus Mundus Partnership for Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova».
2 Since 2013 «KROK» University has implemented Tempus project «Entrepreneur Alumni Network», the project coordinator of which is Hogeschool von Amsterdam (HvA). Project aim is to promote the development of an international university alumni network and graduates employment, to encourage graduates to entrepreneurial activity, to promote economic development. Cooperation possibilities We are interested in building partnerships and signing bilateral agreements on different fields of cooperation: Organization of education for international students, Student and staff exchange and mobility programs, Double degree programs, Internship and career development, Joint research and educational projects, Curricular modernization and development, Educational tourism, summer schools and other activities, Inter-cultural cooperation, Cooperation within the framework of EU and other institutions programs. 5 Development of Master's Program in Business Mediation Program mission - preparation of professional business mediators who are able to resolve conflicts and settle disputes effectively in Ukrainian business environment without legal authorities involvement. Target audience: business owners, top managers, medium level managers. Skills: - Management of the mediation process in order to reach compromises; - Conducting business negotiations; - Management of business conflicts; - Alternative resolution of business disputes; - Effective management of communication between business parties. Advantages of the program: - Practice-oriented approach to training; - Flexibility of tools and skills in business mediation, received by students, applicability for management of disputes, conflicts, negotiations in any business; - Practical training in conduction of business mediation on the basis of national and foreign companies; - Cooperation with the centers of mediation in Ukraine, as well as with Western business schools. 6 Concept of the project in the frameworks of Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education Action Under Priorities: Category D- Developing the Higher Education sector within society at large University-enterprise cooperation, employability of graduates Name of the project: Careers Service Network The aim of the project: is creation of the network of centres for efficient business-university cooperation in the area of training of specialists, required at the labour market, orientation of curricula on the basis of employers needs and strengthening the role of practice-oriented training. Project Objectives: 1) Analysis of as-is situation with careers service functioning at Ukrainian HEIs, learning and implementation of the best European practices in careers service. 2) Creation of efficient model of career centre and its implementation at each HEI. 3) Creation of careers service network to attract new members and disseminate project results. 4) Organization of services and events that boost students and alumni employment. 5) Qualification upgrading of careers service staff and improving of its efficiency. 6) Monitoring of alumni employability and career development dynamics, results evaluation. 7) Development and dissemination of recommendations to Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Ukrainian HEIs on the project results. Project results: More than 80% of alumni of each HEI, where the new model of career service centre, are employed during 6 months after graduation. Mechanism for alumni employability monitoring is created. The network of career service is operating and includes at least 40 universities. The Ukrainian inter-institutional website of traineeships, internships, employability for students and alumni is launched. The methodological recommendations, manuals for other HEIs and Ministry of Ukraine on improving the level of employability skills of HEIs students and alumni are issued and disseminated. Long-term project results: Sustainable and efficient cooperation aimed at training of qualitative specialists at the labour market between the employers and each partner Ukrainian university is established. Dissemination of experience in career service creation at Ukrainian HEIs. Reduction of alumni unemployment. Increasing quality and relevance of educational services in HEIs. Sustainable and continuous improvement of employability system at HEIs via career service network activities.

8 Creation of entrepreneurship centers Actuality: Entrepreneurship is a powerful factor for economic growth, job creation, development of new markets, improvement of the quality and competitiveness of products and services. Entrepreneurial skills such as creativity, initiative, teamwork, commitment and ability to implement ideas, project management skills are precondition for the successful creation and development of business, professionalism improvement and career building. These skills can be successfully acquired while studying in secondary school and higher educational institution. The project aims at developing entrepreneurial skills among students, increase employment, improve the image of the entrepreneur and develop entrepreneurial culture in Ukraine. Objective: Create a network of centers of entrepreneurship on the basis of higher educational institutions of Ukraine Tasks: Create a unique model of the center of entrepreneurship, based on European experience and Ukrainian realities Develop students` entrepreneurial skills, such as creativity, initiative, teamwork, ability to create new ideas and to transform ideas into actions Training of staff, trainers and tutors of entrepreneurship centres Encourage creative thinking Organization of creative space for new business and projects development Support of students in their projects implementation Promoting multidisciplinarity - involvement of the students of different specialties for work in one group Organization of entrepreneurship summer school for students of Ukrainian HEIs for the dissemination of project results Promote successful entrepreneurs as role-models Create opportunities for joint work of university professors and representatives of businesses in the entrepreneurship center, which will include research, development of training programs, learning of legal issues, teaching and tutorship Short-term results: Entrepreneurship centre at each partner HEI is created The students acquired the entrepreneurial skills to different degree that boosted their employment and business development (on the research basis) % of alumni are employed in 3 months after graduation % created new business or project while training % of successful companies or projects created Long-term results: Enhancement of business-universities cooperation Increasing the alumni employability Improving the image of the entrepreneur in Ukraine
