Election of Paraprofessional Victoria Gouza, substitute paraprofessional, was elected as a paraprofessional effective immediately at the previously-established contractual rate of $11.25 per hour. F. Request to Dive Independently The request of Mrs. Heather Walzer that her daughter, Katelyn Walzer, grade 9, be permitted to compete as an independent diver in the WPIAL for the school year/season only was approved. Mrs.Walzer was also approved to serve as her deck coach. B. Request to Establish Sport The request to re-establish the Junior High Softball Program for the season/school term as a Club Sport was approved as year one in accordance with District Guidelines. There will be no initial cost to the District. C. Volunteer Coaches 3. Field Trips The following individuals were approved to render their services on a voluntary basis to the programs indicated for the school term/season only. Use of Facilities A. The request of the Neshannock Township Education Foundation for use of the cafeteria, gymnasium, and classrooms of the Neshannock Memorial Elementary School and Neshannock Junior/Senior High School from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on March 5-22 and April 9-26, 2018, to conduct their Adult Enrichment Program was approved. No fee will be assessed. B. The request of Jenny Bolinger, Director of Outreach, First Baptist Church, for use of the auditorium of the Neshannock Junior/Senior High School from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. and several classrooms from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, to host an IF: Gathering for women of our community and regional area was approved. Custodial and public address system fees will be assessed.

The request of the Neshannock Township Education Foundation for use of the Neshannock Junior/Senior High School art room from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on December 13, 2017, to conduct a Paint and Post class was approved. No fee will be assessed. 7. Board Issues A. Berkheimer Proposal The Board approved a contract with Berkheimer Tax Innovations for the purpose of collecting the District s current and delinquent per capita taxes at the rate of $.75 per bill plus postage for the period of January 1, 2018, thru December 31, B. Per Capita Tax Exonerations A listing of Per Capita Tax Exonerations for the school year was approved. C. Timber Sales Management Agreement The Board approved a Timber Sales Management Agreement with Bimber s Forestry Service for consultant and management fees at the rate of thirteen percent of the gross sale of timber from the District s grounds.
