He recognizes quorum being present. 1.2 Flag Salute Led by Chase Longan, Director of Clubs and Organizations 1.3 Announcements/Correspondence Mention that ASG Elections are coming up and if you are interested, please come and apply/ run for Office. 3 INTER CLUB COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Page Approval of the Agenda for the Inter Club Council Meeting of March 26, 2018 Motion: Second: Psychology Club ICC Representative Honors Club ICC Representative Record of Board Vote: with chair voting Aye and Philosophy Club ICC Rep abstains 2.0 Inter Club Council Official Business: 2.1 Wake Up Stand Up Motion: Second: American Sign Language Club (ASL) ICC Rep Communication Studies Club ICC Representative Background: JOELLE MIN, A STUDENT AT ACADEMY OF THE CANYONS AT COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS, PRESENTS INFORMATION REGARDING HER UPCOMING SEXUAL HARASSMENT SEMINAR OCCURRING ON APRIL 28TH, AT 9:00 AM IN THE UNIVERSITY CENTER ROOM 258. THE PURPOSE OF THE EVENT IS TO CHANGE THE CYCLICAL BEHAVIOR OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT THAT HAS CREATED APPARENT RAPE CULTURE IN OUR SOCIETY. Student came to present at the ASG Senate Meeting Student is from AOC Incentive points (20 per hour) per club for volunteering at event Incentive points will roll over to next year The rollover points may also include summer but will confirm after speaking with Jess 2.2 Chartering of the Coptic Club Motion: History Club ICC Representative Second: American Sign Language Club (ASL) ICC Rep Background: THE MISSION OF THE COPTIC CLUB IS TO GLORIFY CHRIST THROUGH CAMPUS SERVICES BY PROMOTING AWARENESS OF THE COPTIC ORTHODOX CHRISTIANITY RELIGION. Representative introduces herself and the mission of the club Provides background of the club, Egypt is where this originated Traditional Christianity Invite speakers and share Christian Religion Even if you do not share same religion, you are still welcomed to come to a club meeting Recommendation: MOVE TO APPROVE THE CHARTERING OF THE COPTIC CLUB Record of Board Vote: with chair voting Aye
4 INTER CLUB COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Page Chartering of the South Asian Student Association Club Motion: Philosophy Club ICC Representative Second: Biology Club ICC Representative Background: AS A UNION, THE SOUTH ASIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION STRIVES TO INTRODUCE THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SOUTH ASIAN CULTURE BY SHARING THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRADITIONS AND PRACTICES WITH ALL CULTURES. SOUTH ASIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION IS FOCUSED ON PROVIDING A SAFE SPACE FOR STUDENTS TO CONGREGATE AND CONNECT. Club Representative introduces herself as well as the background of the club Share cultures and traditions for countries with all those on campus Recommendation: Move to approve the chartering of the South Asian Student Association Club Record of Board Vote: with chair voting Aye 2.4 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR UPCOMING SPRING EVENTS Motion: Future Business Leaders of America (Phi Beta Lambda) ICC Second: American Medical Student Assoc (AMSA) ICC Rep Background: ROBIN HERNDON, ASG SPECIALIST FOR THE OFFICE OF STUDENT DEVELOPMENT AT COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS, INTRODUCES FUTURE INCENTIVE POINT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CLUBS OF THE INTER CLUB COUNCIL. THE OFFICE OF STUDENT DEVELOPMENT WILL HOST COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY AND PRE-CEREMONY EVENTS. VOLUNTEERING AT ONE OR ALL THREE OF THE BELOW EVENTS WILL BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR CLUBS TO GAIN POINTS AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER TO BE ROLLED OVER FOR THE NEXT SEMESTER. THE EVENT DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1) THE GRAD FAIR, WEDNESDAY,MAY 9 TH IN THE STUDENT CENTER ATRIUM FROM 7:00AM 7:00PM, HELP IS NEEDED FOR SETUP, INFORMATION TABLES, AND CLEAN-UP; 2) THE HONORS GRADUATE RECEPTION, FRIDAY,MAY 18 TH IN THE WEST PE GYM, FROM 7:00AM 1:00 PM, HELP IS NEEDED FOR SETUP, INFORMATION TABLES, AND CLEAN UP; AND, 3) THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY, FRIDAY, JUNE 1 ST, IN THE HONOR GROVE FROM 6:00AM 1:00PM, HELP IS NEEDED FOR SETUP, VARIOUS EVENT ASSISTANCE, AND CLEAN UP. 20 incentive points with each hour per club member If the Volunteering Bureau also has these events as volunteering opportunities, will the points still be added to club points

CLUBS WILL GO TO THE PROVIDED LINK TO NOMINATE THEIR OUTSTANDING STUDENT LEADER AND THEIR OUTSTANDING CLUB ADVISOR TO BE PRESENTED AT THE CLUB CUP AWARDS BANQUET OCCURRING ON THURSDAY,MAY 3 RD, FROM 6:00 PM 9:00 PM AT THE UNIVERSITY CENTER. Thursday from 2-3pm is the time/date for the next club meeting 3.2 Vice President of the Inter Club Council- John Perkins- Grant process and google form updates 5.0 Open Forum- Robert from Legislative affairs asks how many students have seen the Paw Print and read the paper? Suggestions feedback welcomed to improve the content of the Paw Print. Attempting to have the Paw Print digitally publicized. Total for Club points will be available after meeting.
7 ASG BOARD MEETING MINUTES Page 7 Senate Meeting Wednesday, March 26, 2018 AMSA Club says that there is a symposium and all welcomed to attend. UCLA is coming with other various schools. Event held on May 12. Units enrolled currently is required in order to be a part of event. Food for Thought food support and clothing donations are in need of donations. The National Students Society is holding an event to rack up food.
