The following information should act as a guide for visiting athletic teams, staff and personnel in search of services in Minot. We hope you enjoy your time in the Minot area. 4 GENERAL INFORMATION ATHLETIC TRAINING Jodi Swedlund, Head Athletic Trainer 3274 SPORTS INFORMATION Roger McAfee, Communications & Media Relations 3681 Training staff will provide you with support. The MSU training room is currently located in the East hallway of the first floor of the MSU Dome. n Certified athletic trainers will be in attendance at all home events. n Limited training supplies are available. n A trainer can be present upon request. n Ice and ice bags are available. n A training table will be positioned outside your locker room for taping. n Towels are not provided for visiting teams. LOCKER ROOM The visitor s locker room will be located within the MSU Dome. Signage will be posted directing your team. Visiting football and soccer teams will enter Herb Parker Stadium through the northwest door on the third floor of the MSU Dome. A member of the MSU sports information department will provide your team with first half, second half and post-game stats at your designated locker room. For locker room assignment please contact the MSU Athletics office at 3041 prior to your arrival. All visiting team SID, photographer, and media credential requests will be handled by the MSU Sports Information office. Please request all press credentials a week in advance of date of the competition. The MSU Sports Information office is located in the North hallway of the MSU Dome second floor. For home football games the MSU Sports Information office will be located in the press box on the north side of Herb Parker Stadium. Visiting radio and television crews must contact the MSU Sports Information office in advance of the date of the competition. PRACTICE TIMES Practice times are available. Please contact the MSU Athletics office at 3041 to coordinate practice times prior to your arrival. VISITING TEAM BENCH n The visiting team bench for football is located on the south side of Herb Parker Stadium. n The visiting team bench for soccer is located on the northeast side of Herb Parker Stadium. n The visiting team bench during basketball and volleyball is located on the south side of the scorers table in the MSU Dome. n Visitors seating for wrestling, softball and baseball competitions is to be discussed between coaches. n Towels and water will be provided to your bench during games. 4

5 CAMPUS FACILITIES HERB PARKER STADIUM Home to Football and Women s Soccer MINOT STATE UNIVERSITY DOME Home to Men s and Women s Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling and Indoor Track & Field DIRECTIONS TO THE MSU DOME 500 University Ave. NW, Minot, ND n Take HWY 83 (Broadway) to 11th Ave. NW n Turn west on 11th Ave. NW n Follow 11th Ave. to the east side of the MSU Dome. Turn right and follow the road to the loading area on the north side of the Dome. BUS LOADING & UNLOADING Bus loading and unloading for practices, games, etc. will be available in the loading area on the north side of the MSU Dome. When you arrive, players and staff should be unloaded in this area and enter through the third floor main entrance on the north side of the Dome (see campus map on the next page). 6 PARKING BUS PARKING Bus parking is in the designated lot north of the dome. For parking assistance please call VISITOR PARKING Visitor parking is in the designated lots on the east and north sides of the Dome. N 6
