Out Where the West Begins Presentation and Book Signing with Philip Anschutz in The Cloister Ballroom, 4:30 p.m. Enjoy an informative, historical presentation by Philip Anschutz, author of Volumes I and II of Out Where the West Begins. Mr. Anschutz chronicles stories of the courageous entrepreneurs who, between 1800 and 1920, put America s West on the map. Volume I focuses on individuals such as Cyrus McCormick, Brigham Young, James Fargo, Levi Strauss and others, all people of imagination and courage who were adept at maneuvering the rapids of change, and, as a result, helped lay the groundwork for what we know as the American West. Volume II s focus is on the exploration and settlement of lands stretching to the Pacific Ocean as the nation expanded from coast to coast, where only a patchwork of eastern seaboard colonies had existed following the young country s struggle for independence. Failure to cancel within the noted time frame will result in a $25/person charge. Equestrian will be charged the full cost of the activity. All no-show reservations, that are not cancelled, will be charged the full rate of the event or activity. Bingo no-show reservations and cancellations within 48 hours will be charged $50/person. Broadfield requires cancellations 72 hours prior to activity. Broadfield cancellations within 72 hours will be charged the full cost of the activity. Restaurant Dining requires cancellations to be made 6 hours prior to reservation. Restaurant Dining no-show reservations or cancellations within 6 hours will be charged $50/person. Restaurant reservations will be honored for a maximum of 15 minutes after the reserved time. After the additional 15 minutes have passed, the table will be released and your party will be placed on the list to be seated at the next available table. Special Holiday Dining Events requires cancellations to be made 24 hours prior to reservations. For Special Holiday Dining Events, no-show reservations or cancellations within 24 hours will be charged full price.
