7 Writing Standards The College of Education uses the APA Style. No other style will be accepted! Sixth Edition is most recent edition. APA overview on department webpages. 8 Student ID Student ID Number: In your official acceptance letter to Augusta University, you should have received a Student ID Number. If you did not receive a Student ID Number with your acceptance letter, you may find this by logging into the Check Status Form. Make sure you write this number down and bring it with you to orientation. & Username: In your official acceptance letter you may also have received your Augusta University address. Make sure you write this down, as it is not only your address but everything prior to symbol is your Augusta University Username. Password: Access the augusta.edu/password and change your password, using the First Letter of your Last Name Capitalized, followed by your Social Security Number (no dashes) and then a "!". Make sure to remember your new password.

9 POUNCE Logging into POUNCE for the first time? You will need to login to POUNCE using your JagID which is the first part of your address Before you can log into POUNCE the first time using your JagID, you will need to establish a password. Go to password.augusta.edu and login using your JagID Your initial password is the first letter of your last name (Capitalized), followed by your nine digit SSN and an exclamation point. After logging in at password.augusta.edu, follow the on screen instructions to change your password. Example: Homer Simpson s SSN is his initial password would be S ! After logging in at password.augusta.edu, follow the onscreen instructions to change your password. Now you are ready to log into POUNCE using your JagID with your new password. If you encounter a problem contact ITS at to have your password reset.

You can pay with cash, check, credit or debit card. You can also add value using cash at the JagCard Terminal located in Allgood Hall near the food service location. 12 Parking Permits You must have current decal to park on campus. You can register online (if new) or validate (if returning). Returning students can validate their decal by logging into POUNCE. Student parking spaces are available during the day. Student may park in faculty/staff spaces after 4:30 pm. Hours: M-F 8am 5pm, Friday: 8am-4pm Public Safety provides jump-start for dead batteries, Lock-Jock when keys are locked in your vehicle, escorts after dark, first-aid, and a lost & found. Call or visit the Public Safety Website for more information Open 24 hours a day: A $35.00 per semester fee covers: Rides on Augusta Public Transit, one parking permit per student, and the Jaguar Express campus shuttle.
