With over 30 clubs and 800 students participating club sports are a great way to enjoy extramural competition without the pressures of highly structured varsity sports. Clubs can be competitive, recreational or performance based in nature. If you do not see a club listed and would like to start one, contact our Club Sports Office. It only takes 10 undergraduate students to start a new club! Enjoy the banked corners to assist with each turn! Direction rotates each day as walkers are asked to stay on inside lanes while runners use the outside lanes. Lap counters are available for checkout at our Welcome Desk with ID. View our open gym court availability by going to our and select our facility schedules drop down menu. RESERVE SQUASH & RACQUETBALL COURTS ONLINE! Students, faculty and staff now have the ability to reserve a squash or racquetball court online (limit 1 reservation each day made up to 24 hours in advance). To reserve a court or view availability, simply visit: uml.edu/racquetball or uml.edu/squash. You will receive an confirmation and also have the ability to cancel your reservation online. For CRC paid members they must still call our Welcome Desk at to reserve a court. FREEWHEELERS APP Find available bikes, reserve a bike or register at: uml.edu/getafreewheeler. League sports are broken down by A, B, or C divisions based on skill level with A division being the most competitive. For gendered leagues or co-ed leagues that require a specific number of males or females, participants can play in the league that is most consistent with their gender identity or expression. (held inside CRC) Registration Fees: $85/person (includes CPR/AED & First Aid) BALLROOM DANCE LESSONS Our Ballroom Dance Club teaches beginner Ballroom Dance Lessons each semester inside the CRC. Lessons run for 8 week and the fall registration deadline is Oct. 27. Fall 2016 Dates: Thursdays, 7:30-8:30pm in CRC, Sept. 8 - Oct. 27. Registration Fees: $25/student, $40/faculty or staff, $55/community member. GROUP SWIM LESSONS Classes are held on Saturday mornings at Costello Pool during our 8-week fall and winter/spring sessions. Open to adults or children as young as 6 months. Fall 2016 Dates: Saturdays, Sept Nov 5. Registration Fees: $120/person LEARN TO PROGRAMS GROUP RUNS Ready, set, go! Our group runs are a new addition to our group fitness schedule this fall. Led by our fitness staff these runs are a great way to meet new people who love staying active. Meet at CRC at 5:15pm for a dynamic warm up and be ready to run by 5:30pm. LADIES NIGHT Join our female personal trainers for an hour of a women s only workout in the Riverview Fitness Center on South Campus. During our Ladies Night events there will be a men s yoga class in Riverview 158 and the CRC will be open to all patrons.
