1 2017 SUMMER FESTIVAL GUIDE Dear Friend, There really is nothing like summer in the Great Lakes State! We are fortunate to live in a state surrounded by natural beauty, scenic charm, and so many outdoor attractions and events. That s why I am sending you this directory of family activities and festivals. I have taken the time to compile this list of some of the happenings taking place right here in Michigan. Feel free to keep it in a handy place for future reference. While this newsletter provides numerous opportunities throughout Michigan, there are plenty of activities right here in Macomb County as well. A special Macomb County section inside details some of the great events happening right here in our own backyard. I want to thank you for providing me with the opportunity to serve as your State Senator and provide information like this to you. I hope you re able to get out this summer and enjoy some of the great events listed inside.
