FOCUS The Friday Night Coffee House events are usually held at the First Baptist Church (909 SW 11 th Ave./ on SW Taylor between 11 th and 12 th ). For information about FOCUS events, please go to the FOCUS website at or stop by their office at East Hall, room 322 on Mondays and Tuesdays 3:00 to 5:00pm, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 2:00 to 4:00pm. FOCUS-is not part of the IELP program but they are an organization of Portland Christians helping international students of all cultures and beliefs. 2. PSU Sporting Events All PSU sporting events are free for students. For football games, go to the PSU Ticket Office (located in Smith Memorial Student Union) the week of the game to get your free ticket. For all other sports, just go to the game with your PSU ID card and you will get in for free. 3. Students can purchase one ticket for $10.00 with your PSU ID card two ways: 1. Go to the ticket office () starting the week of the concert. 2. Go to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall (1037 SW Broadway) starting two hours before the concert. For more information, see the website at 4. is held in the Multicultural Center, room 228, in Smith Memorial Student Union. is every Wednesday from October 9 th to December 4 th. 5. Day Trips are free for IELP students. We will go in small groups to different places in Oregon (i.e. Woodburn Outlet Mall, the Pumpkin Patch), depending on the weather and student interest. The day trips are free for IELP students but a $40 deposit is required. If you show up on time to the meeting place, your deposit will be returned. Students interested in joining these trips can sign-up and pay their deposits at IELP Activities Office (UCB 405D). Or for more information go to the IELP Activities Office.

6 6. On Friday, November 22, 2013, at, the Portland Trailblazers take on the Chicago Bulls. After the game, we will go to the court and shoot a free throw. Tickets prices are free for IELP students, $25 for guests. Only 150 tickets available. Sign and get a ticket at the IELP Activities Office. There are a limited number of tickets for other games. The ticket prices range from $18-$99, depending on the game and the seat. 7. IELP Craft Day want to learn how to make a knit hat, make cards, and other cool craft projects? Join the IELP Activities assistants for a day of crafting. We will meet at 10:00am in UCB 402C. We will also have drinks and snacks. 8.
