2 DIRECTIONS DIRECTIONS DIRECTIONS DIRECTIONS Students are going to use Google Slides to create and present a website. The group with the best website, who follow directions, are creative, and cooperate, will not only receive tickets, but will also be featured on the school website and published to the internet. The goal of this project is not only to learn about the life and times of the 13 Original Colonies, but also serve as good citizens to fellow 8th graders around the world who wish to learn more about the Colonies. For Part 1, students will create bubble charts for each of the 13 Colonies. Students must read the related section in HA, attach an image representing each of the following aspects of that colony,: - Founders - Settlers - Geography and climate - Economy and occupations - Religion - Government And use at least one sentence to explain each image. For Part 2, students will create pages for 5 different aspects of Colonial life, which were a part of each colony. Students will create a page for Life, Family Life, Rights, Religion, and Life of African Americans. An example page with more directions has been provided in this presentation. For Part 3, students will create links to individuals pages using the home page. Furthermore, students will make sure to include a home page button on each individual page to ensure that users may browse efficiently and effectively.
