Prioritize your day based on your needs. Reference the list of majors and campus map in your Welcome Day bag as resources. 2. To get the most out of your day, have each family member/guest attend different presentations. 3. Presentations are first-come, first-served so be prepared for presentations to reach capacity early. 4. Visit the University Showcase to learn about the many resources available to future Pioneers and to meet Cal State East Bay staff and students. 5. Pick a tour that relates to you most. Campus tours, self-guided housing tours, and Recreation & Wellness Center (RAW) tours will be available. 6. Transfer Student Panel: Student Perspective Come hear from current Cal State East Bay students who recently transferred. Students will share their own experiences and outcomes of transitioning from a community college to Cal State East Bay s college life. Special Events and Campus Services Enrollment Information Center Financial Aid and Admissions staff will be in the lobby of the Student Services and Administration Building to answer questions and General Education staff will help freshmen sign up for Pre-Advising. You can pay your pre-enrollment fee, accept your offer of admission and commemorate the occasion with your family. (The cashier s office takes only cash or check. You can pay by credit card at the kiosks or on smartphones.) University Showcase 11:15 a.m. 1 p.m. Visit our informational fair featuring a variety of campus services, clubs, organizations and departments. C.E. Smith Museum of Anthropology 11:15 a.m. 2 p.m. Acorns, Adobes, and Archaeology: Sifting Through the East Bay s Past Take a journey through time to learn about the original Ohlone inhabitants and the early Ranchero Period at the museum s latest exhibit. From beading to bricks, and cordage to cows, visitors are invited to interact with the original Bay Area technologies used to begin transforming the East Bay nearly two centuries ago. 7

Your Cal State East Bay account is where official university communications are sent regarding admission, classes, fees, financial aid, and instructions from professors. Access your with your NetID at horizon.csueastbay. edu. Remember to check your MyCSUEB account. MyCSUEB is Cal State East Bay s self-service system for you to check your admission status and To-Do lists, register for classes, and see your grades. Access MyCSUEB at my.csueastbay.edu with your NetID and password. FRESHMEN and Transfer DEADLINES Fall Semester 2018 Accept Admission Offer Step 1: Pay the required enrollment fee of $110 (applied towards the mandatory orientation) at my.csueastbay.edu Step 2: Accept your offer of admission in the MyCSUEB portal to secure your place for the entering class. Register for Orientation Orientation is required for all freshmen and transfer students. Sign up for Housing Join the 1,600 students living on campus. Submit Financial Aid Documents Submit all requested financial aid documents listed on your MyCSUEB portal. Final Transcript Deadline Submit your high school and/or all college/universities transcripts with spring semester grades and graduation posted.
