Crews Educator Scholarships A one-time award of $1,500 sponsored by the GCPS Foundation to a student who has exhibited good character and leadership skills, and has maintained a 3.0 GPA and has a desire to enter the teaching profession. Each GCPS high school has their own requirements for choosing their respective school's CTE Student of the Year. The students then submit an application, including a resume and an essay to our office 2 P age

3 and are interviewed individually by a panel of judges. Amahd Adams - Lanier HS, Jared Bogues - Collins Hill HS, Jadon Escarment - Lanier HS, Mercer University Ian Henley - Archer HS, Marlon Moore - Grayson HS, Taiyi Morrison - Lanier HS, Ian Smith Peachtree Ridge HS, Calvin Terry - Acher HS, GCPS Foundation Mathematics Scholarship A one-time award of $1,500 to a GCPS graduating senior with financial need and an interest in a post-secondary mathematics related field. Shruthi Santhanam GSMST, Georgia Institute of Technology GCPS Multicultural Scholarship Established in 2015 and co-sponsored by the Gwinnett Multicultural Advisory Committee and the Foundation. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to one or more seniors of Hispanic, African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, or other minority origin, who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Trinity Johnson Grayson HS, Georgetown University GCPS Foundation STEM Scholarship The one time award of $1,500 will be presented to a GCPS graduating senior with plans to enroll full-time in an undergraduate course of study in science, technology, engineering, or math. Anisha Jayachandran Duluth HS, University of Georgia Dante Allen Brookwood HS, Georgia Institute of Technology GCPS Foundation Science, Engineering and Technology Scholarship In recognition of outstanding performance at the regional level, a one-time award of $1,000 will be presented to a GCPS senior with plans to enroll full-time at the post-secondary level in a course of study in science, technology, engineering, or math. The grant is intended to reimburse for registration, travel, shipping, and/or STEM project creation expenses related to competition at any level. No application necessary. No recipient this year Georgia Credit Union Young Leaders Scholarship A one-time award of $2,000 will be presented to a graduating female that has distinguished herself as a community volunteer, entrepreneur, or school leader with results that make the community a better place for all. Up to five recipients may be named pending qualified applicants. Kaitlyn Gina Choe Discovery HS, Stanford University Medha Madangarli Peachtree Ridge HS, Georgia Institute of Technology Jim Maran Scholarship for STEM Studies The $1,000 Jim Maran Scholarship for STEM studies will be awarded to one Gwinnett County Public Schools high school senior graduating with plans to enroll full-time in an under graduate course of study in science, technology, engineering, or math. Peter Do Meadowcreek HS, University of Georgia Dr. Barbara Reed Science Scholarship A one-time award of $1,000 to a graduating senior with an interest in a post-secondary science field with an emphasis placed on applicants interested in science education. Brooke McKenzie Lanier HS, Georgia Institute of Technology Rick Case Automotive Group Scholarship Established in 2015 and sponsored by Rick Case Automotive Group, this scholarship is a 4 P age

5 one-time award of $2,000 to be presented to a Gwinnett County Public Schools high school graduating senior advancing to post-secondary study in one of the fifteen Automotive Service Technology and Automotive Technology certificate or diploma programs offered through Gwinnett Technical College. Lauren Seroyer Peachtree Ridge HS, Louisiana State University Veronica Feldman Grayson HS, Mississippi State University Teaching as a Profession Scholarship This $500 scholarship is awarded to seniors enrolled in the Early Childhood Education and Teaching as a Profession programs who are planning to pursue education degrees in college. Dolciani Halloran Foundation, a one-time award of $5,000 will be presented to graduating seniors of GCPS who are also members of the Suwanee Police Department Explorers Program No recipients for Participating 2019 GSMST Outstanding Senior STEM Scholarship The GCPS Foundation has established a new program to be offered each spring, the GSMST Outstanding Senior STEM Scholarship. 6 Shoichi Hayashi, GSMST, Princeton University Hope McKenzie Scholarship, A one-time award of $1,000 will be awarded to one student excelling in the arts at Grayson High School. The award is presented by the McKenzie family in memory of Hope McKenzie. Anna McCarthy Grayson HS, Columbus State University JJ Campbell Memorial Scholarship A onetime award of $500 will be awarded to a student excelling at Lanier High School. The award is presented by the Campbell family in memory of JJ Campbell. John A. Raghu Music Scholarship A one-time award of $1,000 to a GSMST orchestra member with preference but not limited to bassist, who participates in community service and has a weighted GPA of 3.0 or better. Shruthi Santhanam - GSMST, Georgia Institute of Technology Judy Patterson Legacy Memorial Scholarship A one-time award of $1,000 to a senior at ARCHER HS ONLY with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who exhibits good character and meets the requirements of graduation. The award can be applied to any form of post-secondary study that leads to employment. Chiamaka Ekwegh - Archer HS, Georgia Southern University Jessica Flynt - Archer HS, University of Georgia Lanier Education Foundation Scholarship Established in 2014, this is a one-time award of $1,000 is given to one or more recipients attending Lanier High School with plans to attend a four-year or two-year academic program. Marissa Lee Sorkin Lanier HS, Georgia Institute of Technology Melissa Gallego Lanier HS, Georgia Institute of Technology Reid Mullins Scholarship A one-time award of $1,000 presented to one or more deserving seniors in honor of Reid Mullins for his many years of service to Snellville Middle School and as Gwinnett s first middle school principal. Headley Scholarship is a one-time award of $500 to a student who exhibits good character, a love of learning, a desire to further his or her education, and is eligible for postsecondary education.
