3 Meet the Head Coach Head Coach Bob Nannig Bob Nannig returns for his second stint guiding the Anchorwomen, having served as the head coach from He was also an assistant coach at RIC in In , Rhode Island College sent two individual qualifiers to the 2014 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships and earlier in the year, RIC recorded its highest score in five years during a loss to the College at Brockport in ECAC action on March 2. In , RIC sent two gymnasts to the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships. Nannig started the Anchorwomen women's gymnastics program on the road to recovery in and was named the ECAC Women's Gymnastics Coach of the Year as two RIC gymnasts qualified for the NCGA Championships. During Nannig's previous tenure guiding the program, four gymnasts qualified for the NCGA Championships. Nannig has an extensive career in coaching, which spans 30 years. He served as the Director of Boys Gymnastics at Aim High Academy in East Greenwich for six years. He has extensive experience in camp coaching, first at URI s summer gymnastics camp, having worked there from , and then at the Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania for two sessions. Nannig also served as the owner and head coach of the North Kingstown Gymnastics Center from He previously served as the gymnastics coach at Kingston Dance & Gymnastics from Nannig received a bachelor s degree in physical education from Springfield College in While at Springfield, he lettered in gymnastics from He earned a master s degree in physical education administration from the University of Rhode Island in In addition to his coaching duties, Nannig also works as a physical education teacher at Cranston High School West and has taught in the school system for 23 years. He was honored as the R.I.A.H.P.E.R.D. Secondary Education Teacher of the Year in Nannig lives in North Kingstown, Rhode Island with his wife JoAnn. They have two daughters Haley (21) and Jade (27). 3

4 Meet the Assistant Coach Assistant Coach Nicole Tomaselli Nicole Tomaselli begins her fourth season as the assistant women s gymnastics coach. She assists Head Coach Bob Nannig with all phases of the RIC women s gymnastics program, including recruiting, scouting, administering practice and meet coaching. Tomaselli has played a key role in the revitalization of the program and has been recognized nationally for her efforts. The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) named her the Div. III Women's Gymnastics Assistant Coach of the Year in A former Rhode Island College gymnast and two-time captain, Tomaselli averaged scores of on vault, and on floor as a senior in She posted season-high marks of on vault vs. West Chester/Wilson on Mar. 1, on bars vs. Wilson on Feb. 14, and on floor vs. Bridgeport on Feb. 21. As a junior in , the Cranston, Rhode Island native averaged scores of on vault and on floor and in the all-around. She posted season-high marks of on vault and on beam at the ECAC Championships on Mar. 15, on bars and in the all-around vs. Wilson on Feb. 23 and on floor vs. Brown/M.I.T. on Jan. 13. As a sophomore in , Tomaselli was primarily a bars specialist. Tomaselli competed once in the all-around at the West Chester quad-meet on Jan. 14, recording a score of on vault. Prior to RIC, Tomaselli grew up competing in gymnastics at Warwick Dance & Gymnastics Academy (WDGA). It was at WDGA that she began her coaching career, which spanned from 2002 until her graduation from RIC in In addition to coaching at WDGA, Tomaselli has coached at International Gymnastics Camp, Woodward Gymnastics Camp, and Iron Rail Gymnastics Camp. In addition to her coaching duties, she works at Rhode Island Hospital's Emergency Department and is currently completing her nursing degree. Tomaselli resides in North Providence, Rhode Island. 4
