12 PLACEMENT PROCEDURE Check your SCORE & practicum eligibility in your portal after screening one (1) & update your resume Search three (3) organizations Download practicum nomination form from CUIC s website (cuic.uum.edu.my) Fill in the form and submit to CUIC no later than 6 month before practicum date CUIC will process your application based on your options and priority Check your application status in your portal 2 weeks after nomination form submission and follow up with CUIC person in charge Changes of practicum placement is not allowed after getting company s offer letter Check your practicum eligibility in your portal from time to time & contact CUIC s person in charge for any advice related to practicum issues. 20-Mar-18 Practicum Information A171/A181 (2018)

14 STUDENT TASK: SEARCH THE COMPANIES BEFORE NOMINATION You can start your nomination once you are eligible for screening one (1). Refer to the company database in your portal, but you are encouraged to find new companies in order to add up the database list. Application letter can be provided by CUIC if student want to approach the companies. For those companies which need to be applied online, student need to apply by their own, however application letter must be from CUIC.

24 AVOIDANCES! Students who are pregnant and expected to deliver during practicum are advised to postpone their practicum. Students are prohibited to undergo practicum before report duty date, except for special project under CUIC. Students are prohibited from doing practicum in their family related organization or family owned business. No family interference during application of practicum placement. Students need to deal with CUIC directly.
