3 Page 3 of 12 - VERSION 1 - Last Updated: Sunday, May 24, 2015, 2:35 p.m. Game Rules and League Regulations This league will be governed by National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) rules and regulations, except the following: + Warm up time will be based on time available until the next regularly scheduled game. A minimum of three minutes of warm up will be granted all games. + All games will consist of two 20-minute halves. The clock will run continuously, except the last two minutes of each half and at the discretion of referees or league officials. + Halftime will be three minutes. + The first overtime period will be two minutes. The second overtime period will be sudden-death. + Each team will receive per game two 30-second and two 60-second timeouts. Teams will be granted one additional 30-second timeout in the first overtime period. No additional timeouts will be issued in the second (sudden-death) overtime, and timeouts will not carry over to the sudden-death period. + Coaches, players and spectators who are ejected from a league game will be removed and barred from all gymnasiums utilized by the league for the remainder of the day. + Game and warm up basketballs will be provided by the host school. No outside basketballs, please. + All uniform jerseys must have numbers. No duplicate numbers. + The first team listed (on left) on schedule will be home team on scoreboard and wear white or light-colored jersey. The second team (on right) on schedule will be the visitor and wear dark-colored jersey. + An admission fee of $2 per spectator will be charged each day at all league gymnasiums. Concessions will be available. + All head varsity coaches will receive s regarding any schedule changes and daily text message reminders from league organizers. An updated schedule will also be available at It s the head coaches responsibility to check s, texts and/or website for schedule changes. + All league payments must be received by Wednesday, June 10, Payments can be mailed to P.O. Box 1626, New Albany, IN 47151, or dropped off to league directors at your first game. Checks should be made payable to New Albany Basketball.
