You may choose from Taco Bell, Arby s, McDonald s, Wendy s, KFC, and Pizza Hut, but every member of your group must attend the same restaurant. Students may not cross the highway without their chaperone. The faster we eat, the sooner we get home! Arrive back at Floyd Elementary School. Please help by picking up all the trash from the bus floor. Make sure you have all your belongings with you. Go home and get a deserved good night s sleep! Parents: We hope this trip will be both educational and enjoyable for your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call us at

35 FACULTY & CHAPERONES: We fixed a packet of materials for you which includes suggestions for each chaperone, the daily itinerary, rooming list, chaperone cell phone numbers, and group list. We will give the packet to you on Thursday morning, so you should leave this agenda at home for your family members to keep track of where you are! There are so many sights to see, and sometimes the walking might seem unbearable. On the first day, please try to keep the students in your group at the required pace so we can stay on schedule. This is especially important when we are in Arlington so we can see the changing of the Guard at 12:00 because they won t do another one for an hour and we will miss it. We look forward to seeing you at 5:00 AM on March 21 st. You may have students who require medicine. Please collect it from their parents and keep in on your person with the directions for administering it. There is a list of students in your packet that may require some type of medical attention or who have some issues. Please look over the list and be sure you know how to care for those in your group. Sincerely, Seventh Grade Teachers Note: If you plan to leave your car parked at the school, do not park in the numbered parking spaces, unless you have an assigned space. Please park on the side of the road down toward the bus garage or up the hill toward the high school. For those planning to drive their own vehicle, below are directions to the Holiday Inn: Take I-81 North to Exit 300. Travel on I-66 East. Get off on Exit 71 (Glebe Road/Fairfax Drive). Immediately turn right into the Holiday Inn entrance. Park in the back and wait outside the main entrance to catch the bus.
