1 OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY EXTENSION The Ohio State University, The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Fulton County Commissioners Cooperating Volume 23, Issue 1 FULTON COUNTY 4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT March 2018 A new 4-H Extension Educator for a new 4-H year... Dear 4-H Members, Families and Advisors: Welcome to a new year! I am the new 4-H Youth Development Extension Educator and a Fulton County native. I was involved in the Fulton County 4-H program for 10 years and took many small animal and book projects. I also took advantage of many Older Youth Leadership Opportunities. The Fulton County 4-H Handbook and current and past newsletters are posted on our county website at: Click on 4-H Youth Development under Program Areas. Each year some of the project requirements change due to rules or state fair changes. The Fulton County 4-H Handbook has competition rules and guidelines for projects, as well as the H calendar of events and opportunities. Read the rules, the calendar and the section for your project. I would also like to say thank you to our 4-H volunteers who give so graciously of their time and talents. We wouldn t have such a great program without you. I hope you choose to continue volunteering with me! My door is open for questions and comments to improve our Fulton County 4-H Program.
