Three different SEC teams - Alabama, and Georgia - have won NCAA Gymnastics Championships. In 2017, four SEC teams advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Championships. Three of those teams advanced to the Super Six. In 1998, the SEC entered the record books as the only conference ever to sweep the top three spots at the NCAA meet (Georgia, and Alabama). The SEC has placed at least two teams among the top six in 35 of the possible 36 NCAA Championship events. A record five SEC teams advanced to the NCAA Super Six team final in The SEC leads all conferences in NCAA individual titles (111). All Day The Alabama gymnastics team will be the No. 1 seed when the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional Championships gets underway Saturday, April 7 at 4 p.m. CT in Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide, ranked sixth nationally, comes into the Tuscaloosa Regional having won an NCAA-best 31 regional titles. Alabama has also advanced to the NCAA Championships 35 years in a row. Alabama will be joined by No. 2 seed Michigan, No. 3 seed Georgia as well as Missouri, Illinois and Central Michigan. The top-18 teams in the nation by regional qualifying score are seeded into the six regional sites. The remaining three teams come from within the region. This will mark the second time this season that Alabama has faced Michigan after opening the season in Ann Arbor in January. The two teams also met at last year s regional in Morgantown, W.Va., when both advanced to the NCAA Championships. It will be the second trip to Tuscaloosa this year for Georgia and Missouri. The Tide will open the regional on the floor exercise and will then move to the vault. From there, Alabama will be on a bye before advancing to the uneven bars followed by the balance beam. Seniors Nickie Guerrero and Kiana Winston both earned regular-season All-America honors from the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W). Guerrero earned first-team honors on the balance beam and second team on the vault, while Winston earned second-team honors on the uneven bars. Winston leads the Crimson Tide in the six-year history of the award in both career first-team honors and combined first- and second-team honors. She now has four first-team accolades and six combined first and second-team accolades. Guerrero has three combined honors for her career. The No. 10 ranking heading into the postseason is the highest since 2012 and just the third time in program history that the Razorbacks head into regional competition with a top-10 ranking. is making its 15-consecutive appearance at an NCAA Regional. The Razorbacks enter the NCAA Championships as one of the most improved programs in the country. Auburn ranks No. 16 nationally with an RQS of The Tigers are tied for 15th on vault (49.155) and beam (49.200), 20th on bars (49.205), and 25th on floor (49.215). All-SEC performers Gracie Day and Drew Watson are among the SEC s best on vault. Day, a sophomore from San Antonio, is tied for seventh in the league with a 9.89 RQS, while Watson is tied for ninth at Watson and Day finished tied for second overall at the 2018 SEC Championship in the event with a each. The placement earned Watson SEC All-Freshman accolades. Junior Samantha Cerio also picked up All-SEC honors on bars and is tied for 35th nationally with a 9.89 RQS. Redshirt junior Abby Milliet is among the nation s best on beam, standing tied for 25th overall with a 9.9 RQS. The next stop for the University of gymnastics team is University Park, Pa., for the April 7 NCAA Regional Gymnastics Championships. In 2017, UF won the NCAA Gainesville Regional to advance to its 35th NCAA Championships. took third in the 2017 NCAA Super Six team final, held in St. Louis, Mo. Nine honors went to five Gators in the recently released National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC) regular-season All-America list. The five Gators earning spots on the 2018 NACGC All-America list include two with a trio of All-America honors. Senior Alex McMurtry earned first-teams for vault, uneven bars and balance beam. Junior Alicia Boren collected second-team honors for all-around, beam and floor exercise. Three Gators claimed All-America second-team honors Alyssa Baumann (beam), Rachel Gowey (beam) and Rachel Slocum (vault).

All Day The 18th-ranked Georgia gymnastics team will head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for its NCAA regional. In 34 all-time regional appearances, Georgia has won 24 regional championships and finished second ten times. A year ago, the 10th-seeded GymDogs advanced through the Gainesville regional and finished 12th at the NCAA Championships. Junior Sydney Snead, sophomore Rachel Dickson, and freshman Marissa Oakley earned All- SEC honors. Snead earned the distinction after scoring a 9.9 on vault, and a 9.85 on bars. This is her third All-SEC recognition. Dickson matched Snead with a 9.85 on bars to seal a place on the All-SEC team. Oakley was placed on the All-SEC Team for her performance on bars with a score of and earned All-Freshman accolades. All Day For the 14th-consecutive season, the Kentucky gymnastics team is headed to the NCAA Regionals. The two-seeded Wildcats will travel to Minneapolis to compete at the Sports Pavilion on the campus of the University of Minnesota on April 7 at 5 p.m. ET. Kentucky will face off against No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 13 Denver, Minnesota, Iowa State and Iowa. UK s two seed ties the highest in program history, earned with the regional qualifying score of Kentucky has not faced any team in the regional this season. Last season, UK met Oklahoma in the NCAA Seattle regional last season. Sophomore Mollie Korth was named a 2018 NACGC/W Regular Season All-American. Korth earned second team All-America honors in all-around and vault. She concluded the regular season with an all-around regional qualifying score, good for 14th in the country. Korth averaged a in the all-around, and competed in all four events at every meet but one this season. Her high of this season tied her career best and is the second highest all-around score from a Wildcat behind eight-time NCAA National Champion Jenny Hansen. The Cambridge, Wisconsin native finished 15th in the nation on the vault, earning her All-America distinction. Korth scored a season-high 9.95 in the event and had an RQS of 9.9. Korth, along with Alex Hyland, were a NACGC/W Regular Season All-Americans last season and are the only two to win the award in program history. Jenny Hansen, Robin Ewing, Aronda Primault, Sidney Dukes, Hyland and Korth have been named postseason All-America.

All Day The gymnastics teams will make a return trip to Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 7, as the second-seeded Tigers received an NCAA Regional berth., regular-season and championship-meet winners in the Southeastern Conference, will square off with No. 11 Nebraska, No. 14 Oregon State, No. 19 George Washington, No. 20 NC State, and No. 31 Maryland in one of six regional meets. This No. 2 overall seed for the Tigers is tied for the highest in school history. was also the second seed heading into NCAA postseason competition in The NCAA Regional berth is the 34th straight and 35th overall for the program. owns 17 regional titles and is trying to extend its streak to seven straight. Myia Hambrick has been named one of 10 finalists for the 2018 AAI Award, which is given to the most outstanding senior gymnast in the country. Hambrick, Sarah Finnegan, Kennedi Edney and Lexie Priessman combined to earn a nation-best 14 National Associate of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) Regular Season All-America Honors after finishing in the top-16 of the final event rankings. Hambrick earned the honor on all four events as well as the all around. Hambrick is just one of three gymnasts in the country to haul in five honors. The AAI Award finalist finished is the No. 1 performer on floor in 2018 and also ranked sixth on beam, seventh in the all-around, and 13th on bars and vault. Overall, Hambrick has totaled 17 All-America honors, which is tied with Ashleigh Gnat for the most in school history. Finnegan collected four All-America honors after finishing in the top-eight of the rankings on bars, beam, floor, and all-around. The junior is one of three gymnasts in the country to finish in the top eight of four or more rankings. Finnegan finished as the nation s top performer on bars and earned a perfect 10.0 on bars, beam and floor this season. Edney wrapped up the regular season with four All-America honors. The sophomore in the top-16 of the rankings on vault, bars, floor and all-around. Priessman also finished No. 7 on bars for All-America honors. Overall, gymnasts have combined to earn 56 All-America honors in the regular season since the award s inception in has now totaled 225 regular season and meet honors in program history. The bid marks the Tigers fourth-consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and the 28th overall bid in program history. The Tigers recorded three top 10 wins over the 2018 season, with two over and one over. The win over No. 5 marked the team s first-ever victory over the Gators, as as Missouri entered the contest 0-22 in the series. Earlier in the season, Mizzou posted a home win over the No. 10 Razorbacks on Jan. 19 at the Hearnes Center and a victory over the same team at the Mardi Gras Invitational on Feb. 16.
