1 Designing Our Future with MTAW The American Club Kohler The American Club was once a dormitory for immigrant employees with a pub, bowling alley and barbershop. The American Club reemerged in 1981 as a full-service hotel. Today this Tudor-style redbrick building welcomes guests with gracious hospitality that has earned a Forbes five-star and AAA 5-diamond rating. Kohler Co. Tour 8:15 a.m. The Village of Kohler is home to the World Headquarters of the Kohler Company, a leader in kitchen and bath plumbing fixtures, furniture and tile, engines and generators, and golf and resort. Join us Wednesday morning, before the Treasurers Workshop, to take a tour of the factory. You must call the number listed below to reserve your spot. The "Industry in Action" factory tour is offered every weekday morning, and offers guests an intimate glimpse of everything from vitreous china lavatories to the production of massive 6-foot cast iron tubs. Guests make their way through several Kohler buildings and learn about Kohler's innovative Arts/Industry Program. Tour Information: Free Admission Starts at 8:30 a.m. (please arrive minutes prior to register) Advanced reservations required Enclosed footwear required Safety glasses are provided No cameras or cell phones allowed Must be at least 14 years old Approximately 3 hours, this is a walking tour Reservations are required for the tour. The building was originally used as a recreation hall for residents of the Village of Kohler. In 1985 it was transformed into a 36,000-square-foot showcase for the Kohler family of businesses.
