(BMI) of Portland, OR. BMI is a recognized leader in the field of cross connection control education. BMI offers a variety of classes relevant to all cross connection control personnel: backflow assembly testers, inspectors/specialists, installers, repair technicians, program administrators and managers. BMI-MA conducts regularly scheduled training classes throughout the year at various locations in Pennsylvania. BMI and BMI-MA will travel the Mid-Atlantic area and across the United States to provide certification classes for states, counties, cities, municipalities, associations and organizations. Additionally, BMI offers certification and update recertification classes for cross connection control inspectors/specialists, backflow assembly testers, backflow assembly repair technicians, confined space entry safety and many other general industry classes related to the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. BMI can customize any BMI-MA training classes for the specific needs of an individual organization, public or private. Together BMI and BMI-MA offer in-house classes and seminars tailored to your needs and the requirements of any regulatory agencies involved. BMI also provides 'train-the-trainer' classes that allow your own in-house training staff to carry on cross connectionrelated training following BMI classes. BMI's experienced trainers strive to keep informed of the latest changes in cross connection control regulations, equipment, certification requirements and test procedures. Through continuing education, industry and academic participation, along with practical field experience, our instructors are able to maintain their knowledge and awareness in the area of cross connection control.

Phil is also an information technology specialist and was a partner of A. G. Vento & Sons, a construction services company that provided environmental construction services to the water and wastewater industry.
