3 PROGRAMS KIDS POWER KARATE MODERN FENCING This 6-week martial arts class emphasizes self-defense, physical fitness, conflict resolution, teamwork and anti-kidnapping techniques. This is an introductory program to Tang Soo Do. Hosted by PKSA (Professional Karate Schools of America). Wear loose fitting clothes. A responsible adult must remain in attendance during class. Resident: $35, Non-Resident: $70 In conjunction with the Blue Water Fencing Club, classes will teach weapon handling and main fencing positions; fencing movements, straight hits and hits with disengagements; attacks and counter attacks. The course is taught in foil, with an explanation of epee and saber. Program will provide masks, gloves and practice foils. Students must wear athletic shoes and comfortable shorts or pants. 8 Classes: Resident: $55, Non-Resident: $75 JAN. 16 FEB. 20 TUESDAYS, 5:45 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. AGES: 6 AND UP LITTLE NINJAS KARATE JAN FEB. 20 TUESDAYS, 5 P.M. - 5:30 P.M. AGES: 4-5YRS Introductory karate class designed to teach focus, memory, teamwork, discipline, self-control, fitness, balance and coordination. Hosted by PKSA (Professional Karate Schools of America). Wear loose fitting clothes. A responsible adult must remain in attendance during class. AGES: 3 AND UP MCMORRAN ARENA This program is designed to introduce skating and hockey in a fun, relaxed atmosphere! Your child will learn from some of our local professionals from the Port Huron Prowlers! We have a limited supply of skates to use on a first come first serve basis. When registering, please let us know if you need skates and the size so we can reserve them if they are available. Must provide own helmet (hockey or bike helmet will work). Resident: $30, Non-Resident: $50 JAN. 8 FEB. 26 MONDAYS, 6 P.M. - 7 P.M. AGES: 12 AND UP LANDMARK ELEMENTARY BUILDING YOGA MONDAY & WEDNESDAY JAN. 8 - FEB. 14, 6:45 P.M. - 7:45 P.M. AGES: 16 AND UP Escape from your day and enjoy the calm of Yoga. Classes blend stretching, gentle movement and restorative poses with a focus on letting go of tension and thought allowing you to reach a state of stillness and peace. Essential oils combined with focus on our breath helps in making this class relaxing and healing. No experience needed just come, wear something comfortable, and enjoy the benefits of nurturing your mind, body, and spirit. Resident: $72 for all 12 sessions or $8 Drop-in Non-Resident: $85 for all 12 sessions or $10 Drop-in CAMP PALMER SUMMER DAY CAMP June - August 2018 Monday - Friday 6:45 a.m. 5:45 p.m. Ages: 6-12 at Palmer Park Camp Palmer, our state licensed day camp will run all eleven weeks of the summer. Activities include: swim lessons, field trips, arts and crafts, outdoor play, organized games, theatre arts, sports and lots more!
