8 Online Boards & Commissions Database The Town of Smithfield is pleased to announce that the new OnBoard Board & Commission Management Solution System is now available on the Town s website to facilitate public engagement through our vendor, ClerkBase. Boards and Commissions are an important part of the Town s governance, as they focus on specific areas of interest. OnBoard allows you to see who is currently serving on a Board or Commission, how to contact them, the membership history of that board, and each member s history on all boards. With this new system Town residents can access this information without delay or inconvenience, should they want to volunteer, they can do so by checking the vacancies on various Boards or Commission. As always it is important to allow our Town residents consistently new and updated technology. Access the OnBoard Board & Commission page at Current information for all positions has been entered, historical information will eventually be entered into the system. Updated 1/3/2018 6
