2 and Dance Season The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams Sept. 29-Oct. 9, Amanda Wingfield is a faded remnant of Southern gentility who lives in poverty with her son, Tom, and daughter, Laura. Amanda struggles to give meaning and direction to her life and to the lives of her children. Tom and Laura attempt to escape reality through their own distractions and illusions. The family and their inner worlds are shaken by a dinner guest. MAIN STAGE by Richard O Brien Oct. 27-Nov. 6, Mark A. Chapman Set amidst the background of campy sci-fi and b-movies, Brad and Janet become stranded at the home of transvestitescientist, Dr. Frank N. Furter as he unveils and plays with his newest creation Rocky. Guaranteed to be a night full of song, dance and audience participation. Experience love in the information age. The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart March 9-12, McCain Auditorium Mozart s last opera is set in a mythical land between the sun and the moon. In this amusing tale, the young and sensible Prince Tamino travels to the temple of the Sarastro to save Pamina. Along his magical journey he meets the comical Papageno, the three muses, the spirits, and the fabled Queen of the Night. Tamino gets through one hurdle after another with the help of an enchanted flute.

Chapman In the fall of 1918, a world ravaged by four years of war was suddenly hit by a mysterious and deadly plague: the Spanish flu. The illness hit hardest among people healthy, strong and in the prime of their lives, advancing rapidly. As fear of the dreaded illness begins to fill the town of Unity with paranoia, drastic measures are taken. Bug by Tracy Letts Nov , Set in a seedy Oklahoma City motel room, the play centers on the meeting between Agnes, a divorced waitress with a fondness for cocaine and isolation, and Peter, a soft-spoken Gulf War drifter. Directed by student, Chase Rossman. Boy Gets Girl by Rebecca Gilman Apr. 6-9, What begins as a blind date grows into a terrifying obsession that threatens New York reporter Theresa Bedell s very existence. Directed by student, Aubrey Mann.
