Please remember that the Board is limited in its ability to respond to the public on the following matters: individual personnel issues, anticipated and pending litigation, negotiations, attorney-client privilege, matters of individual privacy, tactics and techniques in protecting safety and property of the public, or individual student issues. While the First Amendment allows for the free exchange of ideas and opinions, the Board will not permit profanity, threatening remarks or other disruptive behavior during public session. Per Board Policy (#0167), the presiding officer may limit each statement to three minutes duration. All remarks should be addressed to the presiding officer. B. Recommended Actions 1. Transfers Whereas, the State Department of Education permits transfers among the school district s budgetary line item accounts, And Whereas, it is the desire of the Riverside Township Board of Education to make such transfers, Therefore, Be It Resolved, by the Riverside Township Board of Education that the Board Secretary is hereby authorized to make the following budgetary account line item transfers: FROM TO AMOUNT $

Fire Drill and Security Report Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the September Fire Drill Report, submitted by Kurt Andress, Fire Marshal, and the Security Drill Report, submitted by Robin A. Ehrich, Superintendent, as attached. c. District Safety and Security Plan Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the Riverside School District Safety and Security Plan as presented. d. Comprehensive Maintenance Plan Whereas the Department of Education requires New Jersey School Districts to submit three year maintenance plans documenting required maintenance activities for each of its public school facilities, and Whereas the required maintenance activities as listed in the attached document for the various school facilities of the Riverside Township Board of Education are consistent with these requirements, and Whereas all past and planned activities are reasonable to keep school facilities open and safe for use or in their original condition and to keep their system warranties valid, Now Therefore Be It Re It Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby authorizes the School Business Administrator to submit the attached Comprehensive Maintenance Plan for the Riverside Township Board of Education in compliance with the Department of Education requirements. e. Delanco Tuition Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves a Tuition Contract Agreement with Delanco School District for the academic year at a per pupil cost of $10,521 for Preschool students. f. Willingboro Tuition Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves a Tuition Contract Agreement with Willingboro School District for the academic year at a per pupil cost of $ for a Kindergarten student. g. BCIT Tuition Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the tuition payment of $3,248 for 48 regular and special education students attending the Burlington County Institute of Technology for school year. h. Sale of Equipment Whereas the Riverside Township Board of Education has obsolete equipment/supplies which are no longer useful to the district, Be It Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the advertisement for the sale of these items, awarded to the highest bidder. And Be It Further Resolved, that the Riverside Township Board of Education approves the disposal of any items not sold as a result.

ABA - Applied Behavioral Analysis Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the Learning Well Limited Liability Company to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) training and consultation for students at a rate of $110/hour, during the school year, not to exceed $4,000. j. ABA - Applied Behavioral Analysis Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves Brett DiNovi & Associates, L.L.C. to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) training and consultation for students as per attached contract, during the school year, not to exceed $4,000. PERSONNEL a. New Employee Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the following staff member for the school year, as listed: 1. Jessica Fitzgerald-Nowlan, ES Instructional Ambulatory Aide, at the contract rate of $16.49, as needed per IEP, effective 10/17/16, for the school year, as recommended by the Superintendent. b. Substitutes Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the following substitutes for the school year, as listed, pending criminal history review. 1. Kristine Boyle, RN 2. Crista Niles, RN c. Staff Development Resolved that the Riverside Township Board of Education hereby approves the staff development activities for the school year as attached. d.
