Continuing Beginning Beekeeping Short Course in Carroll County November 20- March 12. Conducted Carroll Grayson Cattle Producers February monthly meeting with a panel discussion on Fencing Laws in Virginia: Past, Present and Future Assisting Carroll Cattlemen s Exchange and Carroll, Patrick & Grayson Cattlemen s Beef Marketing Group with establishing 2010 Sale Dates, Health Protocol and Age and Source Verification for Value Added Internet/Video sales Fall Born Calves July 14 Sale Date with August 16 Delivery Date Spring Born Calves August 25 Sale Date with November 1 Delivery Date Conducting a Series of Producer Meetings on Community Supported Agriculture as a means for local producers to direct market to consumers with produce, meat, eggs, bread and etc The group of local producers is organized and ready to begin operation as Blue Ridge Plateau Farms CSA web-page: CSA Meetings Conducted in Carroll County: o December 11, 2009 o January 15, 2010 o February 16, 2010 o February 23, 2010 Assisting Carroll County School Administration with development of Carroll County School Farm.
