Located on the west bank of the Cumberland River, the museum is steeped in the culture of America s music, preserving its evolving history and traditions while educating and entertaining. Les Paul s guitar. Hank Williams leather shirt. Elvis Presley s gold Cadillac. Miranda Lambert s pink guitar. These are just a few of the 2 million artifacts in the museum s collection. A treasure trove of historic country video clips and recorded music, dynamic exhibits and state-of-the-art design all contribute to an unforgettable museum visit. It s an experience you won t want to miss. 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Country Music Hall of Fame WELCOME RECEPTION FOR GOVERNORS, SPOUSES, SPONSORS AND INVITED GUESTS This invitation-only reception in the Hall of Fame Rotunda offers guests an opportunity to mix and mingle while enjoying the surrounding bronze plaques honoring the Country Music Hall of Fame members. Following the reception, guests will join other meeting attendees for the all-attendee event.

These songwriting legends, well known on Music Row, will tell the stories behind some of country music s biggest hits. Guests will enjoy some of Tennessee s homegrown wine with country music star, and winemaker, Kix Brooks of the legendary duo Brooks and Dunn. Following the reception, sponsors will join all attendees at the Ryman Auditorium while governors and their spouses enjoy a private dinner. Sponsors should use the shuttle transportation. 4 6:15 p.m.-7:45 p.m. Executive Residence GOVERNORS AND SPOUSES DINNER Governors and their spouses will enjoy a private dinner at the Tennessee Residence. The executive residence, a classic example of stately Georgian architecture, was originally known as Far Hills because of the beautiful views from the home s 10-acre site. To date, nine governors and their families have lived and worked in the Tennessee Residence, including Gordon Browning, Frank Clement, Buford Ellington, Winfield Dunn, Ray Blanton, Lamar Alexander, Ned Ray McWherter, Don Sundquist and Bill Haslam. 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Ryman Auditorium RECEPTION FOR ALL ATTENDEES All meeting attendees will gather at the most famous home of the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, for an evening of food, history and entertainment. Throughout history, the Ryman has become inseparably linked to the origins and rise of the modern-day genre of country music. The Grand Ole Opry broadcasted from here from 1943 until 1974, was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 and was further designated a National Historic Landmark in Attendees will have an opportunity to explore the Ryman s rich entertainment history and how it became known as the Carnegie Hall of the South. See what Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner wore during the years country and bluegrass music were shaped, see video and rare photos of Johnny Cash and take your picture on the stage graced by legends from Aretha Franklin to ZZ Top. Then, walk backstage and see the dressing rooms of the stars, Minnie Pearl and Hank Williams included. Finally, stand in the wings where performers such as James Brown and Elvis Presley stood to await their time on that famous stage. Hosted by husband-andwife, Grammy award winning, singer-songwriters Amy Grant and Vince Gill, attendees will hear an array of musical entertainment telling the unique history of The Mother Church of Country Music with stories from that famous stage. The Hermitage is a historical plantation and museum, which President Jackson owned from 1804 until his death in Attendees are welcome to explore the national historic landmark s 1,120 acres, including President Jackson s mansion, the picturesque grounds and spectacular Southern gardens, the original Hermitage home and a museum filled with historical information and artifacts. During a down-home Southern picnic, attendees are in for a treat with music highlighting the sounds unique to Tennessee s various regions: blues from one of Memphis s most popular Beale Street acts; the best of bluegrass from Grammy nominated, three-time IBMA s Vocal Group and Entertainer of the Year, Dailey and Vincent; and one of Nashville s biggest country music stars.
