1 PERFORMING ARTS Improvise a soaring jazz solo, conduct a symphony, discover some new dance moves, or try your hand at direc ng. Join the orchestra, chorus, dance ensemble, theatre troupe, or jazz band, all part of the COF Performing Arts program. Whether you are a student, faculty, or staff, you can find an opportunity to explore an interest or improve your skills. You can also minor in performing arts through an academic program that integrates performance experience with classroom studies. INTRAMURALS For all COF members, intramurals are the perfect way to stay ac ve. Whether you were a former high school or college athlete, or just want to try your hand at a new sport, intramurals have something for everyone. COF leagues provide compe on in an array of tradi onal and non-tradi onal sports. Par cipants create teams with their friends or residence hall community and the COF provides the leagues, space, officials, and equipment. It s free to play, and teams are encouraged to incorporate players from across the six colleges. GEO CENTER College is a chance to explore the world, and the COF Global Educa on Opportuni es (GEO) Center works directly with the six colleges to help you find the perfect study, internship, or co-op abroad program. Can t fit an en re semester abroad into your academic plan? The six colleges of the COF offer many short-term travel courses, which are on-campus, semester-long courses with a short-term travel component. CROSS-REGISTRATION REGISTRATION - The hallmark of the six college consor um, cross-registra on enables students to take courses that may not be offered at their home ins tu on, in addi on to the chance to create unique academic minors. More than 1,200 cross-registra on courses are available. Since the consor um s incep on, hundreds of COF members cross-register each year. CENTER FOR SUSTAINABILITY & ENVIRONMENT- Plenty of opportuni es exist to study and preserve the natural environment. The COF Center for Sustainability and the Environment offers unique opportuni es for students looking to contribute to environmental research and conversa on, such as the annual Muddy River Clean-Up, the Muddy River Symposium, and a variety of environmental cross-registra on courses, including the COF Environmental Forum, which focuses on different environmental issues each year.

2 EMMANUEL COLLEGE As a member of the COF you have access to all 6 s, their services and opportuni es. College of Art and Design Fenway Cash can be used at the Mass Art cafeteria (which also serves as the cafeteria for ), and at 's Bea y Café. Cash and credit cards are also accepted. Your meal plan is not accepted at these loca ons. WIT, Mass Art and share the Schumann Center in the basement of s Flanagan Campus Center. (Only students of these three colleges are able to use the facili es.) Simmons College Wheelock College Fenway Cash can be used at Simmons and Wheelock cafeterias and coffee shops, but you cannot use your meal plan. Cash and credit are also accepted at all loca ons.
