DAY ONE: Tuesday, June 6, 2017 New York City orientation: - It is absolutely critical to be on time!!! - Be flexible. - Bus will never return to the hotel other than at the end of the day. - It s OK to leave your belongings on the bus. - The bus will always pick you up where you were dropped off. - Stay in groups as defined by the director at all times. - Have lots of small bills ($1, $5, $10) with you. Some of the rooms also have a microwave and refrigerator. - Unpack (DO NOT LEAVE money in hotel room!!!) - Swim in the hotel s outdoor pool from 10:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. * The deepest part of the hotel pool is 9 feet deep. * The hotel does not have a lifeguard on duty. * Anyone that swims in the pool is swimming at their own risk. Purpose of this was a fund-raiser to restore the museum. * Surname will match Wall of Honor on backside of the museum. - Into the museum to the right bank of computers to access information About genealogy for a fee.
