1 Please review the following: Top (2) teams from Pools A, B, C, and D advance to bracket play. Top eight (8) teams from the tournament advance to Division I AAU National Championship in Lake Buena Vista, Florida (July 13-19, 2012), and the next eight (8) top teams from the tournament advance to Division II AAU National Championship in Lake Buena Vista, Florida (July 13-19, 2012). The placement of teams in pools in Georgia AAU Boys Basketball District Qualifying Tournaments is solely a subjective process and is done for the benefit of the competition as a whole. No club member, individual athlete, fan, or parent shall have a cause of action against the Sport Director or the Executive Committee with respect to any issue related to a team s placement in a pool. Coaches and bench personnel MUST adhere to the AAU dress code: collared shirt, khaki long pants, or slacks and closed-toed shoes; no hats, no blue jeans, no shorts, no sweat pants, no t- shirts, nor open-toed shoes. Non-compliance can disallow coaches and bench personnel from being able to sit on the bench during their scheduled games. There will be four (4), eight (8) minute quarters; halftime/warm-up time will be five (5) minutes; overtime will be four (4) minutes, if necessary. Each team is guaranteed a three (3) game minimum; the third (3 rd ) game could be in either pool play or bracket play. The minimum recovery time between games is one (1) game. The home team is on the left side of the schedule and must wear WHITE; the guest/visitor is on the right side of the schedule and must wear BLACK/DARK. Game time is forfeit time, so please be on time.
