2 CONSOLIDATED MISSIONARY BAPTIST state convention of THE convention s Mission STATEMENT The Consolidated Missionary Baptist State Convention of Arkansas is the collaboration and association of Missionary Baptist Churches in the State of Arkansas. The Convention strives to provide an avenue for Christian Missions, Education, Evangelism, and Benevolence for the members of the various associations and churches. The Convention also provides leadership and assistance to her school, Arkansas Baptist College. THE president s Vision STATEMENT The purpose of the Consolidated Missionary Baptist State Convention of Arkansas is to glorify God by making disciples of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at home and around the world. To accomplish our Mission we will seek to strengthen all member churches and seek to work as a team. in the work that Christ has given us to do. As a Convention of Christ-centered churches in winning lost souls we value making new disciples, building future leaders, deepening our Christ-centeredness, working together, showing compassionate outreach, and being the best Great Commission stewards that we can be.

We give praise to Almighty God for yet another gathering of our Convention to do the Master s will. As we convene here at Union Missionary Baptist Church for this Annual Session from today until Wednesday, November 27th, let us strive to be the best Great Commission body of believers to be found in this dispensation. We are grateful to Pastor Douglas E. Jones and the Union Missionary Baptist Church family for their wonderful spirit and superb hospitality, as they host us for We are grateful for individuals who comprise the Convention s staff and work the entire year to make this session possible. It is my prayer that you will take full advantage of each session that is conducted by the Women s and Laymen s Auxiliaries, as well as the Parent Body. It is through our praying, working, and striving together, that when we leave from this place, we will go back to our local churches to serve with renewed spirit.
