1 C L A S S O F G U I D E Stanford Reunion Homecoming Weekend October 20-23, 2011 Hello 01 Classmate, Ready or not, here it comes. Our 10th Reunion is just two short months away. If you re already on the Yes! list, read no further. Skip to the registration form and remember to encourage your Stanford friends to join you in October. If, however, you opened this letter feeling ever-so-slightly anxious at the thought of returning to the Farm, hear us out, because you re not alone. We ve heard plenty of excuses for missing Reunion: My work schedule is crazy, I m afraid I won t remember people s names, I don t have a Significant Other (or baby) to show off. We get it. So, here are five good reasons why you should take a deep breath, bite the bullet, and find your way back to Stanford in October: 1. Our football team should be strong (to quite strong)!!! This could be a chance to witness sporting history. 2. You would be shocked by how much campus has changed structurally lots of new buildings have been erected since the last time we got together. 3. An out-of-the-blue catch-up can easily turn into a career-making business connection. 4. An opportunity to dance in public without social or professional repercussions. 5. The magic that is Stanford is as strong as ever sometimes we just need a little reminder! Will we see you? Please say yes. It won t be the same without you. Until October, Michelle Heeseman Amber Johnson Corey Woolfolk Events Co-Chair Events Co-Chair Events Co-Chair
