3 SPRING CONCERT, DINNER, and WINETASTING Sunday, April 28 Free Concert by the Maennerchor, Damenchor and Gemischterchor starts at 4:00 p.m. in the Great Hall. At 5:30 p.m., a 4-course dinner with Riesling wine samples will be served. 1st Course - Bierock Vorspeise (Meat and cabbage stuffed dinner rolls appetizer) 2nd Course - Leek and Potato Soup 3rd Course - Poularde mit Spargel und Schampusauce (Turkey with gravy and asparagus) 4th Course - Muenster Quark Nachtisch - (Cherry and quark trifle dessert) Cost of the dinner is $14 for members and $16 for guests. This includes a 1 oz. taste of 3 different Riesling wines. If you would like your meal with 3 full 40 ml glasses of the sampling

Germany is looking to borrow the following items for the cultural display for this year s theme: coveralls (blue preferred), lockers (similar to what you would see in schools or employee work areas), hard hats, head lamps, tools that would be used for rock or mineral mining. A World A Fair presale tickets are available for purchase through Monday, May 13 th. Presale tickets are adult $5.00 ($8.00 at the door) and Youth ages 6 18 $3.00 ($5.00 at the door). 6 Learn about German culture through dance. Dance lessons are Monday evenings from 7:30 9:00 and Free for DLT members. Learn social dances including Waltz, Polka, and Ländler (Sound of Music). 7 WHAT: General Planning & Decision Management Meeting for 2019 Picnic WHEN: Wednesday April 24, 2019, 7:00 PM, DLT Rathskeller WHO: All are invited. Especially need all current/new/potential event/activity chairpersons; and interested members AGENDA: Update all on progress to date. Discuss plans and changes for 2019 event including changes needed in layout, etc without use of Crawford Plaza. Critical concerns on food vendor and food tent positioning. Need for sponsors. PLEASE BE PREPARED TO REVIEW YOUR SIGNAGE NEEDS AND ORDER NEW ONES IF NECESSARY. WHY: The Picnic is critical to the DLT and its continued existence is a key economic and community benefit for the Miami Valley. 8 The German Club Edelweiss invites you to our 95 th Anniversary Ball on Saturday, April 27th with a Catered Dinner and Dance for $19. From 6 PM to 7, the dinner includes a Choice of Champagne Chicken or Roast Beef with Oven Roasted Red Potatoes, California Blend, Green Salad, Roll & Butter, Dessert and Coffee. Doors open at 5:30PM. Please place your dinner reservations at or markoems2@gmail.com by Monday, April 22. From 7 pm until 11, Ed Klimczak will play a VARIETY of wonderful music. The DANCE ONLY price is $7 for members and $8.50 for non-members. Dance reservations are NOT required. Delicious sandwiches and your favorite beverages
