2 Seniors The Bradford Alumni Association is awarding 15 scholarships in the amount of $21,773 for the 2019 graduating seniors. The application is on the Bradford Scholarship site and is due to Mrs. Mars April 10th. Leading Ladies THREE THINGS: 1. MONDAY...request LEADING LADIES FOR QUEST...we will do our journaling project during Quest on Tuesday...but YOU must request us. 2. TUESDAY...BONUS MEETING after school TUESDAY. 3. FUNDRAISING STUFF is due... chocolate sales and catalog orders must be turned in no later than TUESDAY. Attention Bradford Wrestlers and Managers Attention Bradford Wrestlers and Managers, On Monday October 29th, we will have our annual bodyfat Test at 5:30pm in the boys locker room. A 7:00pm meeting for parents, wrestlers, and managers will follow in the Bradford Cafeteria. Please make sure you are properly hydrated. DRINK TONS OF WATER THROUGHOUT THE WEEK! ALSO IMPORTANT!!!! Mrs. Colleen Winans (Head Athletic Trainer) will conduct a required impact /concussion test the following day, Tuesday, October 30th at 3:30pm. This impact /concussion test will take place in the library MAC lab area. It is required for freshman, juniors, and anybody new to the program. If you are already in fall sport, and have taken this test, you are excused. BHS Anime Club Meets every Monday, October 29th after school (3:00-4:30) in room 109. Campus Life We will be meeting in room 108 during A and B lunch on Tuesday, October 30 th. Girls Basketball There will be a short 5 minutes mandatory meeting after school Wednesday, October 31 st for everyone interested in playing girls basketball this season in room 126. If for some reason you cannot make this meeting you need to see Coach Ferrille sometime throughout the day on Wednesday, October 31 st.

3 Theatre Production Synopsis: From musical theatre greats, Stephen Schwartz and John Caird, comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith... not to mention centuries of unresolved family business! Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet, but inspiring message that, "the hardest part of love... is letting go." The United States Military Academy is a 4 year co-educational federal service academy located in West Point, NY whose mission is to develop and commission leaders of character as officers in the United States Army. On November 20th during Quest, a 2nd year cadet from West Point will be here to discuss the admissions process, cadet life, and opportunities in the Army following your graduation, and to answer any questions you may have about the military. 4 Can you write poetry? Do you like rapping lyrics? If so, the Kenosha County Community is encouraging students or groups of students to participate in a poetry, rap and/or video challenge. The poetry or rap contest is a minimum of 16 line/ bar or more. The poetry, rap or video challenge should focus on the theme: The Healing Power of Kindness The content should demonstrate an understanding including suggestions that explore the Power of Kindness. The student or groups of students should explain clarity of thought about the kindness theme: The Healing Power of Kindness All lyrics must be clean. All students participating must have a cover sheet attached including: College Career First and Last Name Address, City, State, Zip Code School/Grade/Teacher (First and Last Name) Winners will be notified by December 17, Attention Juniors and Seniors - dreaming about going to college but concerned how you can afford to? On Saturday October 27th, the Mary Lou & Arthur F. Mahone Fund is sponsoring a Power Up College and Resource Fair. This resource fair exposes minority and low- to moderateincome students and families to area colleges and universities and teaches them about financial resources that can help make college a reality. If interested in attending this event, registration AND transportation forms can be found outside office 216. See your counselor with any questions. College Career Attention Seniors... College Goal Wisconsin is back this fall! This event assists high school seniors, parents, and adult students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, otherwise known as the FAFSA. This is the first essential step to receiving financial aid to help pay for college. On Monday October 29th, at 6pm sharp, in the Student Commons near Gateway's entrance, there will be FREE professional on-site assistance helping students complete the FAFSA. If you have questions, or need to know what to bring, please see your counselor for details.

5 College Career Mount Mary University will be at Bradford November 5th at 8 am in room 219. Mount Mary is a private campus of about 1,300 students located in Milwaukee. They offer Division 3 sports in basketball, golf, volleyball, cross country, tennis, softball and soccer. Some of their top programs include: Occupational Therapy, Fashion Design & Art Therapy. Sign up outside of room 218 or see Mrs. Mars. College Career Interested in going to Gateway Technical College in Burlington and learn about their cosmetology, nursing, fire medic and EMT program? If so, pick up a permission slip on the career and College Board outside of room 219 or see Mrs. Mars. The trip is November 15th; forms are due back on Wednesday, November 7th.
