7 The first set of senior pictures will be this Wednesday, September 28, 2016 beginning at 2:30 until 8:00 pm. Please check in the main office for your scheduled appointment time if you have not received it.

8 Make up pictures for underclassman will be Monday, October 10 th. Please pick up a picture form in the main office.

10 Visiting the College/Career Center on Tuesday, 1 st period, will be Widener University outside of Philadelphia. Widener is known for its hospitality management program and engineering program and has a 6 year physical therapy program.

11 Interested students sign up on Family Connection under View All College Visits, select the college, click Sign Me Up (2 times), then print out the Confirmation Page and get it signed by the teacher whose class they will be missing.this is their pass. At these visits, students learn about academic programs, student life, internships, study abroad and scholarships/financial aid.

Come out and learn about African culture and discuss topics surrounding Africa! We will have an interest meeting on Thursday, September 29 th during STEP in Room C- 110! 17 Rec Zone begins today Monday, September 26, 2016, featuring structured programs during STEP and after-school for all students. After school programs will run Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm-5:00 pm in the cafeteria (meals will be served), media center, and other classrooms (TBD).

19 Programs: academic support/homework center, basics of cosmetology, Latin and hip-hop Dance, engineering, fitness training, art, sports and more! All students are encouraged to participate on a drop-in basis.

20 Activity buses will run at 4:35pm and 5:00pm Monday through Thursday, and school security will be in the building until 5:15pm daily. To participate in the Rec Zone, stop by the small gym during lunch, visit the main office or visit the cafeteria after school to sign-up and begin!

21 Students: The First of ten Family Food markets was last Saturday September 17, The next event is coming soon. As previously mentioned it is a fantastic way to serve our community and earn valuable student service learning hours I in the process. Mark your calendars. AND SHALLEA VALLE DID A GREAT JOB ON DEFENSE, MASON PIZER AND AERIEL ORTIZ STAYED TOUGH IN GOAL AND HIGH SCORERS WERE KHALIL GHOLSON, RUBEN MANRIQUE. AND RAMON RODAS.
