Big 12 non-conference opponents in 2014 include 11 teams that participated in 2013 bowl games as well as the past five BCS national champions, and both participants in last season s title game. The combined 2013 win percentage of the non-conference opponents featured on Big 12 schedules this season is the highest among the power conferences. Big 12: (.560) Big Ten: (.531) SEC: (.521) ACC: (.520) Pac-12: (.449) The Big 12 has three of the nation s four schools with schedules punctuated by three opponents that played in BCS Bowls last season. K-State: Auburn, Baylor, Oklahoma Oklahoma State: Florida State, Baylor, Oklahoma West Virginia: Alabama, Baylor, Oklahoma The Big 12 is the only power conference in which every team plays each other. ACC, Big Ten and SEC programs will miss five league members while Pac-12 squads will not play two of their conference brethren. The Big 12 was one of three FBS leagues, and the only among the power conferences, in which every team had at least one win in 2013 conference play.
