These cards make great gifts for Graduations and Teacher Appreciation $10.00 cards available: Amazon, AppleBee s, CVS, Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, The Home Depot, Ihop, Red Lobster, Target, & Wal-Mart $5.00 cards available: Barnes & Noble, Cold Stone Creamery, Panera, Starbucks, & Taco Bell Contact Janelle Pederson for questions or to order: or janelle.pederson@jp2schools.org. What is new with SCRIP this year? Monthly Award SCRIP doing is a monthly contest for this new SCRIP year which started March 30, 2019 and goes through March 27, Here is how it works: Each month with every $ SCRIP order per transaction your name will be entered into a drawing to win $ worth of SCRIP cards of your choice. Example: John Doe buys $500 worth of cards on Monday, his name will be entered 5 times. But if John buys $ worth of cards on Monday, and $175 worth of cards on Friday, his name will be entered twice as it is two separate transactions. Each month the names for the drawing will start fresh based on current month s purchases. Janelle will enter SCRIPNOW/Presto Pay family orders into the drawing off the daily report. This contest is open to all who purchase SCRIP cards at our parishes, schools and Hurley s Religious Goods. Good Luck! Also new at Trinity, SCRIP cards will be sold before mass on Thursday mornings outside the church, 8:00-8:45am. Your continued support is greatly appreciated! 6 April Update! Dear Trinity Families, Thank you for taking the time to pre-register for after-school care. If you have not stopped in the school office yet to do this, please do this by April 18 th. It is important that we have your child s name on the list to be considered for after school care next year. Please know, this is our starting point to see how many families need care. This is not the official registration. On April 16 at 6:30pm we encourage you to attend a parent informational meeting in the library. We will be sharing details on how Trinity will be moving forward, including a wonderful new opportunity for our older students (K-5). We currently have over 80 students pre-registered at Trinity for next year s after-school program. This number is too large to safely accommodate here at Trinity alone and we need help in lowering that number to safer ratios. We realize that after school care is a need for many families, therefore we wanted to help by providing an alternative option that might appeal to some families. Our Trinity after school-program will continue; however, we will only be able to accommodate a certain number of students. Trinity will be partnering with the Schlossman YMCA School Age program. We have been meeting with the YMCA directors and they will be at the meeting to share and answer any questions about their program to see if this is something that might appeal to your family s needs. They have some fun things to offer our families, and we are excited about this opportunity. YMCA provides busing from Trinity to Schlossman after school. Please plan to attend the parent forum. I continue to pray that we will successfully navigate the after-school numbers without putting anyone out. If you cannot attend this meeting feel free to give me a call at for information. Have a blessed start to your spring! I look forward to sharing the future of Trinity together, as we continue to make decisions led by the mission and vision of JPII Catholic Schools. Warm Regards, Karissa Flieth & the JPII Administrative Team
