All teachers are required to give and grade semester comprehensive finals. Finals are to be given only at scheduled times. To protect test security, no finals will be given early. Students who are absent on the day of finals will receive a zero. The semester final constitutes 10 percent of the semester grade. As stated in the student handbook, only unavoidable circumstances that require a doctor s note, funeral notice, or a court order will be approved for make up finals on January 3rd. 2. Busses will run at the regular time on Wednesday, December 20, Busses will run at 11:25 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, The last day for Vo Tech classes at Jefferson College will be December 20, No student will be released on Thursday until 11:25. Drivers exiting the student parking lot should exit left onto St. Mary s Drive. Please avoid creating any traffic near the Elementary, Intermediate and Middle Schools. Parent picking students up in front of the high school should make a left onto Westwind Dr. to avoid traffic on Sunshine.
