We want to thank all of our great employees for their hard work, in making the season such a success. Lodge #1533 would like to recognize bar-back, Todd Lett, for all of his dedication, and for doing such a fantastic job throughout the summer. Todd, (pictured left), is responsible for making sure the bar coolers are stocked with drinks and ice, along with anything else the bartenders need. And he does it all with a smile! The job that Todd does is invaluable to all of us. He really helps make the Social Quarters and Tiki Bar run smoothly, and we really appreciate how quickly he hustles to re-stock everything, said bartender, Jane Brown. Todd began working for Indian Lake Moose Lodge in the spring of this year. He really enjoys helping people out, which is what he likes best about his job. A huge thank you to Todd for being so courteous, for all of his hard work and for everything he does for our Lodge! Moose Members Serving Then...and NOW! The Valued Veterans Program is designed for recognition and support of our Moose Members who are Military Veterans. Go to the Moose International to learn more about the program, and to sign up as a Veteran. Thank you for your commitment and service to our country! 1 Page 1 of 8 Downloaded from Posted: 10/3/2017

8 It s hard to believe that summer has passed and that fall is already upon us, especially after the 90 degree weather this past week. The good thing is that we have Ohio State Football every Saturday on the big screen. Again this year, Kim Anspach, along with several others, is selling raffle tickets for the merchandise on the Ohio State table. We are all looking forward to the Lodge s Halloween Party on Saturday, October 28 with the band, Dolly Daggar. Look for details in this newsletter. Guys, if you want to save a little money, ask about joining the Moose Legion. You can save 50 cents on your drinks on Wednesdays. If interested, just ask any of the Lodge Officers. They will be glad to sign you up! Also, the Moose is allowing any law enforcement, fire, EMS, active military or Immigration Enforcement Officers to become a new Moose member for free the rest of this year. Hope to see all of you at the Lodge this fall! Fraternally yours, Bruce Black, Governor GOVERNOR S CORNER Please consider donating store-bought candy for the Kid s Halloween Party to be held Sunday, October 29. Bring your donations to the front counter by Saturday, October 28. Thank you!! MIAMI VALLEY MOOSE LEGION 103 MEETING SCHEDULE DIRECTOR S 1:30 P.M. REGULAR 2:00 P.M.
