Contact Jimmy Hu: jhu4home@hotmail.com The goal of our instructor, Karen Gold, is to help players quickly learn the strokes and court positioning at every level while having fun. Toward that end, the classes will be segmented into three levels, and the number of students per session will be reduced so each student experiences a more tailored lesson. Pickleball clinics are held the third Wednesday of each month. Each session will be designed for 4 participants at a cost of $15 each. If you are a fifth potential signup for a given session, please me and let me know. We need to know so we have a sense of demand if it turns out the demand is greater than we anticipate. If there are fewer than 4 signups for a session, the participants will be offered the opportunity to cover the $60 fee rather than canceling the session. There will be 3 sessions. Each session will include interactive play emphasizing the focus of the session :00 AM Beginner-Intermediate: Players who are new or relatively new to the game. Focus will be on refining the strokes and basic game fundamentals with interactive play. 11:00-12:00 PM - Intermediate: Players who know basic strokes and the game. Focus on creating control vs power, refining the dink, the third shot and resetting the point. These skills will then be the focus of interactive game play. 12:15 PM - 1:15 Intermediate- Advanced: Players who know the strokes, some shot placement and some strategy. Focus is on, court positioning, getting to the kitchen, and developing the point with your partner. All players must sign a waiver prior to playing for the first time. Wear flat-soled court shoes.
