2 A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE Internationally acclaimed environmental sculptor Patrick Dougherty uses natural materials harvested locally to create unique, interactive stickwork sculptures. He came to the Wilson campus from Oct. 7-23, 2015, to create the sculpture, A Walk on the Wild Side, on the green in front of the John Stewart Memorial Library. More than 100 volunteers from Wilson and the surrounding community contributed approximately 1,500 hours to the creation of the sculpture. REUNION 2016 RAFFLE During Reunion 2016, the Alumnae Association will once again sponsor a round-robin raffle to raise funds for the association s operating budget. The raffle rules are easy: tickets can be purchased for $2 a ticket or seven for $10. Drop your ticket into the jar for the item or items you are interested in and cross your fingers for luck. Prizes will be drawn the evening of Saturday, June 4. The association is also currently accepting donations for the raffle. Donate a piece of Wilson memorabilia, a merchant gift card or even your vacation home for a weekend! For more information on the raffle or how to donate, please contact Kendal Hopkins at aawc@wilson.edu.
