Please your baby or toddler photo to Mrs. Marsh as soon as possible. Winter Blood Drive with the Community Blood Center and NHS National Honor Society TODAY Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission), weight at least 110 lbs. and be in good general health. Donors must bring a photo ID and eat a regular, full meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating blood. Sign up today in any office! Special Promotion - all students who donate TODAY will be entered to win a $100 Visa Gift Card! LAUNCH leader Applications are ready! Please read the instructions carefully. There are three parts to applying to be a LAUNCH leader. PART 1 is this application. Please fill it out completely. PART 2 is your 1-minute video. You will be required to submit a one minute video to me Brian Borchardt at bborchardt@neenah.k12.wi.us This video should give me some insight as to who you are and why you would make a good LAUNCH leader. Be creative and have fun. If you have questions please me. The subject line must read- your last name followed by LAUNCH Video. PART 1 and PART 2 are due February 20, at 3:30 pm PART 3 is your interview. Once I get your application you will be scheduled for an interview. This will be in early March. 2 Anime Club will resume on Monday Feb. 11, with a new advisor, in Room 120 at 3:30 pm. Anyone interested in traveling to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Czech Republic in 2020 should attend a meeting Monday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 pm in Room 404. Any questions? Wear your shirt to the Red Out Basketball game on February 12 at 7:30 pm and you will be given a raffle ticket with a chance to win some great prizes! As the 2nd semester begins, we are looking for a Literacy Ambassador for each English class to make monthly announcements in your English class for our NHS Reading Student Advisory Team (R-SAT). All announcements are ed to ambassadors once a month and can be read to your class. Busses will be picking juniors students up and bringing to school at regular time and bring students back home at approximately 1:00 pm. Parents Teacher Conferences will be from 4:30-8:00 pm. It costs $4 and there will be concessions available to purchase. This month's R-SAT READ is The Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. Pick up a copy and plan on joining other readers on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 3:30 pm in the Lit Lounge for our book discussion. The Difference Maker at NHS 2018 Here is your chance to nominate a teacher/staff/administrator and a student for this difference maker award. Please fill out the form each week.
