6 SIXTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME EXTENDED CARE JOBS AVAILABLE New positions are open for the St. Helen Extended Care program, our before and after school program. We are changing and growing so we are seeking more staff to help for the morning and afternoon. Possible hours are Monday-Friday 6:35 a.m. - 7:35 a.m. and/or 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Requirements include background check/ fingerprinting, Child Protection Class (Virtus), and continuing education. This will be a presentation by the Office of the Attorney General of Ohio. Begins at 11:30 am. Saturday, July 29 th, there will be a Prayer Retreat. Come learn about more about prayer, and how we can listen for the voice of God more effectively in our daily lives. Program is 9-1 with a mass at 8am. $15 includes lunch. CJ LUCAS PFANDER MEMORIAL RACE Saturday, Aug. 12 6:30 p.m. Runners of all ages and levels are invited to this free event! Registration for the Lucas Pfander Memorial Race begins at 6:00 p.m. on August 12 th, at the entrance of Roger Glass Stadium Home of the CJ Eagles. A one-mile race for grade school students begins at 6:30 p.m., with 2-mile race for high school students and adults immediately following. Donations and sale of t-shirts benefit the Lucas Pfander Memorial Scholarship. More details are available at POLKA MASS A Polka Mass will be celebrated by Father Bill Myers at the Germanfest Picnic on Sunday, August 13, at 10:00 a.m. Music will be provided by the Alpen Echos Polka Band. The Germanfest Picnic takes place on August 11, 12 and 13 at RiverScape MetroPark. All are invited to attend. Admission is free.
