3 Things To Remember Alumni artists, authors, and entrepreneurs interested in participating in the showcase should contact the Alumni Office at (504) The reservation deadline for the Reunion hotel is APRIL 1! All pre-registrants must be available to pick-up event tickets at Registration on Friday,May 10. Tickets must be presented at the door of each event (event tickets will be available for purchase and pick-up on Friday, May 10 in the registration room). Cancelation/Refund Policy: Unavoidable situations that require you to cancel your Alumni Weekend registration often arise. Requests to cancel your registration should be received by the Alumni Office, in writing, by April 1 in order to be eligible for a refund. Class gifts are the aggregate giving of any class to the university given during this fiscal year (July 1, 2018 June 30, 2019). Class gift totals to-date will be presented at the gala. The alumni participation rate is the percentage of alumni who give to their alma mater during this fiscal year. We will also acknowledge the classes with the highest alumni participation rate at the gala. Gifts may be included with your registration form (see form) or by contacting the Annual Fund Office at (504) Any questions regarding the Donor Recognition Event should be directed toward the Annual Fund Office, (504) Transportation between the reunion hotel and reunion events will be provided from May 10 May 12. A transportation schedule will be posted online, at the concierge desk of the reunion hotel, and ed in advance.

10 Event Notes Block 150 (Free) Catch up with classmates, professors and staff as we kick off the weekend on Kabacoff Plaza. You can also mix and mingle graduating students! There will be food, entertainment, and free giveaways! The event is free (but all-you-can-eat passes may be purchased) On-site Registration/ Pre-registration Pick-up This is the time where alumni who pre-purchased tickets may pick up their tickets. Alums desiring to purchase tickets on-site should do so at this time as well. Heritage Hospitality Hour (Free) Reminisce, reconnect and relax with old friends over refreshments at the Alumni House. Friday s hospitality is hosted by our current and alumni Miss Dillards. 150 Years of Academic Excellence on Display Join faculty and staff from various departments for light refreshments and updates about the success of university programs. Celebration Breakfast Acknowledging Golden Graduates We encourage all to help us celebrate the Class of 1969 at a breakfast event in their honor. Note that this is the first event on Friday, therefore, you are especially encouraged to pay in advance. Registrants should check in at the event. Sesquicentennial Showcase feat. Alumni Artists, Authors, & Entrepreneurs (Free) At our liberal arts institution, creativity abounds! Alumni artists and authors will be available to display and sell their work. Visit their table, support their work. Legacy Luncheon Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes! We will enjoy a soul food meal as we jam to the soulful sounds of a house band sure to keep you on the dance floor. At this event, there will be a special presentation to our Silver Graduates (the class of 1994) and all former Miss Dillard Queens.

11 Class Meeting (Free) A Class Meeting for all classes ending in 9 s and 4 s will be held to discuss recent university accomplishments and class goals. Class agents and university representatives will be on-hand to address questions and assist in any way possible. Cool Bleu & White Linen Celebration hosted by The National Alumni Association (DUNAA) DUNAA hosts its very own fundraiser celebration! This will be a new take on past alumni midnight breakfasts. Tickets are purchased directly from DUNAA at HBCU Alumni Day Party celebrating DU s Top 40 Under 40 HBCU swagger meets DU chic at this New Orleans lounge. With heavy hors d oeuvres and lively libations, this year s 40 Under 40 class will be our resident VIPs for the afternoon. Think Pre-Grammy Party! 150th Anniversary Gala and Awards Ceremony Featuring a national recording artist, this dining experience will be one of a kind. Celebrating the university s 150th anniversary we will also present the alumni award recipients, recognize the top 40 under 40, as well as present class gifts to the university. There will be an open bar. The attire is black-tie. Club Legacy: The After Party (Free before 12am) Alumni who are ready for a night out on the town should be ready for this! Join us for THE AFTERPARTY with a featured DJ at Gravier Street Social, a local club in the CBD where night-life is the life. Get there before midnight in order to get in free. Old School Backyard Barbecue Question: What do you get when you mix Southern cuisine, a barbecue grill, music, and kids games? Answer: A day of family fun. Reunion will end with a bang as we eat and dance the weekend to a close.
