National Team Recognition Tuesday, September 4th, 7pm, City Hall At the next City of Auburn City Council meeting, all of the athletes coaches that attended the 2018 National Games will be recognized with a Council resolution. Parent Information Meeting Wednesday, September 5th, 6pm, Topics discuss include information registration details on various upcoming fall programs including Best Buddies, BraveHearts, Special Olympics, City of Auburn TR Programs. Bingo will be available for TR participants enjoy during the Parent Meeting.

3 The 2018/2019 season is upon us! The practice schedule is below for fall sports. We have several new coaches joining us this season, we are hoping add additional scrimmages competitions this year. 6 Fall Therapeutic programs start this month! Programs occur weekly, monthly, or quarterly from September through November are designed for all abilities while fostering new interests encouraging development, friendship, socialization in a positive supportive environment. Link City of Auburn FALL BROCHURE Bingo & Fitness (ages 12+) Let s get healthy gether! After we have enjoyed some exercise we will play bingo take home fun prizes. Weekly on Wednesdays, 5:30-7p.m. at Dean Road Recreation Center. Begins August 29th! *Group does not meet on 10/31 or 11/21/18 Afternoon Play Group (Ages 5-10) Join us for games, puzzles, more! Activities will be geared wards physical social development. Weekly on Wednesdays, 3:30-5p.m. at Dean Road Recreation Center. Begins September 5th! *Group does not meet on 10/31 or 11/21/18. TR Game Night (Ages 8+) Join us for board games, video games, cards, coloring! Refreshments will be served, the night will be filled with fun friendship! Fridays, 5:30-7:30p.m. at Dean Road Recreation Center. Fall Dates: September 7, Ocber 12, November 9th Guys Night In (Ages 14+) Join the guys for a night of basketball, video games, ping pong, snacks. Friday, September 21st, 5:30-7:30p.m. at Dean Road Recreation Center.

7 Registration is now open at the Harris Center. 425 Perry Street in Auburn Elizabeth with questions at Event updates/changes will be shared on the Remind App under Special Olympics & Therapeutics Updates (Group join). Mystery Trip! (Ages 18+) Who knows where we will go! A movie? Dinner? A special event? Sign up find out! This trip is guaranteed be fun. Trip time details be confirmed 1-2 weeks prior the event date. Plan for a late afternoon/early evening event. Meet at Dean Road Recreation Center transportation is provided. Trip is limited 10 participants. $5 for Therapeutic Program Participants. Saturday, Ocber 6th time location TBD (most likely afternoon/evening). Cooking Course 1: Healthy No-Bake Snacks Hungry? Looking for something easy nutritious that you can make yourself? Join us learn basic kitchen prep skills some easy no-bake snacks such as banana wheels. Class is taught by Pampered Chef retailer Julie Stanley. Program is limited 10 participants. $25 per class (includes take-home recipe booklet). Ages 8-14 meet Thursday, September 6th, 5:30-7p.m. at Dean Road Recreation Center. Ages 15+ meet Thursday, September 20th, 5:30-7p.m. at Dean Road Recreation Center. Cooking Course 2: Easy as Pie! Making Pizza Interested in learning more about cooking? Join us learn how make pizza! Participants will learn how make pizza from scratch how prepare various ppings. Class is taught by Pampered Chef retailer Julie Stanley. TNT Monthly Teens in Transition Meeting: Brain Teaser Night! Time use your noodle! Use your smarts teamwork figure out ridiculous riddles. This is a free drop-off event for teens 13+.
