1 2018 Showcase Pre-FAM Departure Instructions Airport Arrivals Representatives from Visit Mississippi will pick-up FAM participants from the airport and deliver to the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. Upon arrival at the hotel, drop off all luggage with the Bell Desk located on the far-right side of the Main Check-in desk. The bell staff will tag all luggage with the appropriate tag for the FAM and store it until departure on the FAM. Self-Drive Arrivals For those driving to the Gulf Coast, we recommend using the Beau Rivage complimentary valet service located on the front drive of the hotel. Upon arrival, drop off all luggage with the Bell Desk located on the far-right side of the Main Check-in desk. The bell staff will tag all luggage with the appropriate tag for the FAM and store it until departure of the FAM. If self-parking is preferred, take the parking garage elevators to the Casino/Hotel level and proceed to the main registration/bell desk to check luggage. Onsite Participants Participants arriving at the Gulf Coast prior to Thursday, March 15 should deliver luggage to the bell stand upon checkout from the hotel on Thursday before proceeding to the casino or hospitality suite. The bell staff will tag all luggage with the appropriate tag for the FAM and store it until departure of the FAM. Bell Check The bell staff will confirm the pre-fam tour and tag all bags with the appropriate tag. The tags are as follows: Birthplace of America s Music: Green Luggage Tag Hip & Historic Mississippi: Purple Luggage Tag Security All FAM Participants must check all luggage at the bell stand so it can be properly tagged and delivered to the bus lobby prior to departure. Due to hotel security policies, oversized bags/totes, rollaboard suitcases, back packs and similar luggage are not allowed onto the casino floor or convention center area.
2 Hospitality Suite The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is generously hosting a Hospitality Suite for pre-fam participants on Thursday, March 15 th. The hospitality room will be available from 11AM 4PM in the Camellia Ballroom. The Camellia Ballroom is located in the Beau Rivage Convention Center space. Go up the escalator leading to the convention center and the ballroom is immediately to the right. We kindly request ALL FAM participants to be in the Hospitality Suite by 3:00PM. Departures & Baggage Claim The pre-fam motorcoaches will begin loading at 3:30pm in the Beau Rivage West Guest Lobby. Beau Rivage and Visit Mississippi representatives will escort the group to the West Guest Lobby for luggage identification and boarding. The Beau Rivage bell staff will deliver all checked luggage to the curbside of the respected bus for each tour. Participants will be able to ID luggage before it is placed on the motorcoach to guarantee that each piece is properly claimed. Each pre-fam will depart at 4:00pm. Travel the main corridor to the front entrance of the hotel to check in at the bell desk by selecting Casino/Hotel in the parking garage elevator. Camellia Ballroom: located in the Beau Rivage Convention Center section of the hotel. Proceed past The Buffet on your left and the gaming area will be on your right to the escalator or the elevator Immediately to the right at the top of the convention center escalator you will find the Camellia Ballroom. Beau Rivage West Guest/Bus Lobby: located on the far-right side of the property map. After entering the Hotel/Casino from the Parking garage, take the escalator down to the bus lobby, or you can opt to take the elevator to the West Guest/Bus Lobby
