1 2019 Galaxy Conference Welcome to Galaxy The Planning Committee is very excited about the events we have planned this year. We hope you will spend this time learning from and networking with your fellow Extension professionals. The Arkansas Galaxy Conference is an annual professional development activity for Extension employees. Galaxy Conference gives you the opportunity to learn about a few of the outstanding programs being conducted throughout the state. This year you will also have the opportunity to learn about programs from other states and from some of our vendors. You will get to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of your peers at the Awards Banquet and support Extension s professional organizations as you bid on items at the silent and live auctions. This year our conference theme is People, Purpose, Passion: Pathways to Success. The schedule is full of exciting opportunities to learn about successful programs that will ignite the passion within you to bring quality programs to your clients. With four different topics in each of the educational sessions, there are sure to be many that will interest you. Our hope for this conference is that you will renew your purpose as an Extension employee and leave with a passion to share that with the people you serve in your position. A special thank you goes to Dr. Rick Cartwright and the Administration Team for their continued support of the Galaxy Conference. 1
