5 MUN Scholarships At the MUN awards dinner this month we will be announcing scholarships for graduating Seniors to attend college. This is a wonderful tradition started when Mr. Roger Kirwin donated money following the unfortunate passing of the founder of the MUN program Mr. Richard Voelkel to honor his memory. Years later, as our fundraising programs became successful we were able to offer additional scholarships. All of this is in addition to the money we subsidize the travel conferences with. These trips are expensive for the students attending, but they would be even more so without the subsidy that our fundraising can provide. We now have created an endowment to ensure that these scholarships will continue to be available to generations of future Eagles. All of this would not be possible without the generous support of our parents. If you have not already, please consider making a donation to the MUN program. Your donation is tax deductible and would benefit both current and future students. 6 The Awards Dinner Please join us for a delicious Fiesta meal in the Moiso Pavillion on May 2nd for the Model United Nations Awards Dinner. It begins at 6:00 pm and ends around 8:30 pm. The price is $20 per person. Parents are encouraged to attend this dinner with their children. Awards will be given for those who won four awards, those who won the Best Delegate award, and those who attended a travel conference this year. We are very proud of our delegates that and would like to celebrate their success with each of you. RSVP was due April 22, 2016.

7 Father-Daughter Dance We would like to thank everyone who attended and was involved with the Father-Daughter Dance and a very special thank you to our 2016 donors! It was a great success with over 200 fathers and daughters in attendance! We appreciate all of the support, as do the students who will be the recipients of a number of scholarships as a result of the proceeds from the dance. We look forward to seeing you again next year for yet another memorable evening.
